Any time you do an episode on Zinfandel it’s great! I’m currently in my Zin loving phase and enjoying it. Too bad you didn’t have room for a fruit bomb Zin; the Klinckerbrick would have been great!

QOTD: I only know one tie knot, so I guess it’s my favorite. But if I could get a Thai knot made out of curry, chicken and dough, that would be my favorite!

Gary, The curiosity was too much for me, I had to have the secret pack . Looking at the shape of the package it appears that it would perfectly house the Franzia White Zin in a box that won last years birthday smackdown (still among your best shows). Could this be the perfect beverage for Thanksgiving? The suspense is unbearable.

Great show Gary. I’m cooking thanksgiving for the first time ever this year and sadly I’ve been putting most of my planning/research time into selecting wines. Let’s just say all that went for naught after the Frank Family review…With that said,

How could miss the Alcohol Arsonist- always comes with more heat than is necessary/acceptable and likes to ruin what are normally solid structures. (you’re welcome, shout-me-out)

Another great episode. I paused the video as soon as you mentioned the Thanksgiving concept so I could order a box. My wife is going to kill me considering how much I’ve already spent on wine the past couple weeks, but that’s okay. It’s a great concept — thanks for letting us play along at home!

QOTD – I don’t wear ties, apart from the clip on Bow-ties I use with my Kilt. In the past I’ve gone for a simple single knot – no idea what it’s called (nothing pretentious anyway).

Double Windsor baby! Best looking knot of them all! There are seriously some real poopy looking knots out there… can’t people learn how to tie a tie?

I’ll have to check out the frank family zin! I had the Saxon Brown 2000 single vineyard (can’t remember what vineyard) and I thought it was the cat’s ass! I LOVED the stuff!

Had the pleasure to visit Frank Family last year in Napa and the Zin was fantastic. Reserve Cab from the winery is also outstanding. Dennis (in sales) conducts a wonderful tasting. This was a hidden gem of our tasting trip. Frank Family rocks!!!

On reccomendation, I went out and bought some FF Zin and had it on thanksgiving. Very nice stuff. Worked great with stuffing and turkey and cranberries.
