    See, I logged off my employer’s corporate VPN & company-issued Windows laptop* and came back via home DSL & personal Mac PowerBook, just so I could leave a comment. How’s that for dedication? Huh? Huh?

    Clos du Bois: I haven’t been a fan of their wines either. I tried their chardonnays a few times and hated ’em, and I’m not fond of their non-reserve cab at all. I don’t think I’ve tried the reserve cab though. I’ll give it a shot and see if it breaks CdB out of what I lovingly call Cakebread Syndrome. That’s when I try a few wines from the same winery and dislike all of them so much that the mere mention of the winery makes me cringe. Bleh.

    QOTD: You know, I think Sasha’s got the edge here.

    The episode: Awesome. Your father should be a guest on the show more often. What a character! (I mean that in a good way.) And I love to see family members interact so well with each other. That always makes me all warm-fuzzy happy.

    Okay today’s original email for your B-day; I was thumbing through some old Spectator issues & came accross some young kids face trying to play himself off in the “mature wine world.” This kid was holding a double magnum of Cristal.
    I was 32 when I was reading this Top 100 issue of Dec 31, 1999 upon release & saw your face.
    I brushed off your add given your young look.
    You still look young today, but I prefer to buy wine from you.
    Oh how times have changed.
    We are changing the wine world.
