Qotd. Drinking a bunch of wine with large extended family dinner. One of which,was one you went crazy over – terlato/chapoutier shiraz/voignier. Very interesting, unusual, surprising, but not as good as hoped.

Staying home trying to get over a Holiday cold. Rented a copy of Chuck & Larry. I hope it’s funny.

I’m actually just getting into merlot recently and I’m loving it. Gotta say though, if this is what they cost when everyone’s hating on them, I’d hate to see what a decent bottle will cost when it comes back. QOTD: eating some chicken soup cuz i’m hella sick.

not so impressed. maybe it will improve overnight. very dry tannins that are melowing after 4 hours of decanting.

A “Link it up Mott” T-shirt is a great idea!! I find it interesting that the merlot from aus. tasted like veggies and the ones from the US tasted like fruit bombs lol Great ep for sure GV. I love merlot just not all the time 🙂

QOTD: catching up on the ep’s I missed while I wait for my daughter to fall asleep. Just fed her and it’s about 5am so with luck the warm formula will kick in and she’ll be out like a light and I can get back to bed!
