qotd no idea

Loved hearing about the Matassa, gonna have to seek it out now.
I'm also a huge advocate of decanting white wine, definitely one of the top misconceptions I see w some wine drinkers along w confusing fruit w residual sugar, serving temperatures, and smelling the cork to inspect a wine's quality.

  • QOTD: Nope, it’s not grower’s champagne. Champagne is a little out of my price range. Ballatore Rosso Spumante, however, is not.

QOTD- No Clue, but it wont be growers champagne…i do the cheap cava stuff….not a big champ fan, id rather have some nice riesling or serious red wine. I may have a glass or two of vino but nothing crazy because I have national championships on the 2nd. Damn the scheduling!

  • JeffC

Hey, how about for the next give-away, you draw from names from the “regulars” no lurkers need apply??

QOTD: Dinner, something Red, later, something with bubbles. Whatever is left in the wine-closet (under the stairs).

    Have a Happy.

Great show! I had an interesting white rioja last night with fellow fan Lewy. It totally wowed us. The Matassa sounds interesting as well.

QOTD: We will start with Duval-Leroy Rose. I have yet to settle on the menu. So, I’ll figure out the food/wine pairings then.

QOTD: Who knows, I’ll be visiting my wife’s side of the family in New Jersey (of all places). Champagne will be served, but exactly what type is not too certain.
