One of the great discoveries of 2007 for me and many Vayniacs was the Torrentes grape from Argentina.

    I love Torrontes. I had it at a ceviche bar here in the city and it was the highlight of the meal (the ceviche was terrible!).

    Thanks for paying attention to the less-than-ten dollars part of the wine world. I think this is where you have the chance to make the biggest impact. If we could consistently find such good values in that price range, some of the other prices might start to come down.
