    GV,
First of all, love the “sniffy sniff”….please keep it!
QOTD: I started viewing around episode #50….it is amazing how far the show has come. The fun thing about this show is that when I tell others to watch…they all love it!

For the future, keep bringing the truth about wines like Pinot Noir to the viewers….there is no question that these wines have changed in the last 5 years.
Can’t wait to see more episodes of the 05 Burgandy’s….had an 05 Clos Du Moulin last night and it was fantastic!

I’m glad you liked the Lily. I had my first one a few months ago, and was very impressed. It may have been a different vintage. I will definitely look for the Breggo. Pinots, red Burgundies, and Northen Italian wines are just about all the red wines I am buying these days.

QOTD: I don’t remember the date I first watched, but I believe it was in February, 2007.

I watched a few last March and really enjoyed them, but then got really busy and stopped. I only really started to watch regularly a few weeks ago, and now I’m hyper-addicted, cant’ stop, need more and more and more and more…!

  • fotodevil

I just started watching this week, so I have only been lurking for a few days. I’m hooked already. I am going through some older episodes to catch up.

This show is to wine what Good Eats is to food.

    Keep the “sniffy sniff”.

  • Nice Pinot episode GVNC! Out of the all the well-known varietals I believe Pinot probably deserves a consistent thunder show appearance more than the rest. Because in the world of Pinot Noir there are really good bottles and a plethora (haven’t used that word in awhile) of not so good bottles…but not a whole lot in between.

And thanks for not retiring the “Sniffy Sniff”. Deep down you just can’t help but love the “SS”, that’s why it was able to slip out last episode. Let the “S Deuce” fly!

QOTD: My fan hood (and maybe man hood) is short livedâ?¦only 4 months ago.

More Pinot episodes please. Oregon and central coast as well.
QOTD: I don’t even recall how I found the show, but it was August 2007 when I started watching and I’ve seen every episode since and quite a few from the archives thanks to Chris “link it up” Mott.

  • Dominick Mack

I started watching around episode 270ish. My father was doing some research on Italian wine before a trip to Italy and came across the thunder show.

    I’ve been hooked ever since!

  • Blondie

GV – I began watching you after I visited your NJ store over a year ago. I am a NJ native who moved to Boston and now has to go back to NJ to get some great wines because the silly state of MA doesn’t allow you to ship to us. Silly. Still, I try to seek out some of the interesting wines that you introduce us to – sometimes I hit and sometimes I miss. But always – I enjoy the ride.
Also – Jason Hicks compilation of episodes is hilarious – and you all the way. He captured your essence – not too fruity – not too explosive – and with some great hair styles along the way. Nice finish too.

    Thanks for being you.

Gary….a great show. Have you ever thought on doing several wines from Anderson Valley? I just toured the valley wineries for two days back in December…there are some great values out there….

QOTD: I started watching around episode 175…my friend from Florida sent me a link to your Thanksgiving episode.

  • Excellent show. I guess it’s time to officially stop being a lurker.

QOTD: I started watching your show on episode #323. I was watching Diggnation, and Kevin and Alex were drinking wine and were talking about your podcast. I figured I should check this podcast out. Now when I started watching I didn’t know much about wine (and I still don’t know that much) but I’m learning more everyday and having a ton of fun doing it. As it happens, my birthday is on March 29, so I’m hoping I can make it up to Wine Library and celebrate in style.

    Keep the Sniffy-Sniff!

QOTD: Started watching as soon as I heard about you on Diggnation!

My QOTD to you: Why is it that every time (so far) right after I view an episode and scroll down, click on the wine that I’d like to try, I am saddened to find out it’s sold out?

I started watching on episode #337 shortly after you were on Diggnation and also, shortly after my 21st birthday. Let me tell ya Gary, you have helped me a lot in learning about wine as I am finally legally allowed to purchase and drink the stuff. 😉
