OMG! Just had the 04 Delas Herimtage Bessard last night, I have to say that it’s the most balanced and well made wine I’ve ever tasted. The balance is crazy and combined with a ton of subtle lovely nuances it makes it almost worth the price tag ($110 is still quite above my normal range).

    Pats will win big. This year feels a lot like the Niners against the Chargers in ’95. Chargers were a great team, but by halftime the Niners had their boots firmly planted on the Chargers’ necks, and there was nothing anyone could do about it.

    Pats will win big. This year feels a lot like the Niners against the Chargers in ’95. Chargers were a great team, but by halftime the Niners had their boots firmly planted on the Chargers’ necks, and there was nothing anyone could do about it.

    GV, You really pumped me on the Hermitage tonight. Someday when I get to the point that I can justify $100+ wine on my military retirement, I want to try this. Especially as Syrah is my purple grape of choice and as I mentioned yesterday, Viognier is one of my favorite white wines.

    Well I won’t be so bold as to guarantee victory like Plaxico, but I think the Giants have a good chance. Hopefully they will bring the game that they have been playing for the last five weeks.
    Whatever the outcome, the young guys on the Giants are going to walk away with some great experience from the game and they are going to use it to bring the thunder next season!

    Saw the piece on channel 7 last night – had no idea this daily existed before – going to make it a habit to watch – GREAT show, loved it, going to try the first “fruit bomb” – Also loved the Earnie Shavers reference.
