QOTD: No, never had a wine from Faugeres. Does anyone know if there is any relation to the Faugeres of Bordeaux?

Watching the kids while the wife teaches a seminar ($$$), drinking wine, playing WoW and eve-online. Generally enjoying life.

Gary, Where do you keep coming up with these great wines. You know I love the pepper profile and I go crazy and broke trying to keep up with you. I don’t ever recall having a wine from this region so will “seek it out”. Have a great time in Boston.

QOTD: working saturday… braising my first ever rabbit (hey, wine isn’t the only place to expand the palate!) and having some fine (well… for me fine) spanish wine — which, of course, I haven’t had yet… it’s 40% carinena? Never heard of that, but it should be interesting!

QOTD: Mountain biking!!!! Been getting too fat and lazy over the holidays.

QOTD: Sadly I have to work all weekend and am away from my wife and daughter. The only upside (small at that) is that I found a Oklahoma Merlot – Tidal School 03 and for 10 bones it is pretty damn good!!!

I have never had Faugeres, sounds very interesting though!

QOTD: WORK! but sunday I will relax and enjoy a day off of work and school. Maybe not school because I have exams next week but it will be nice to not have to work.

-wouldn’t they really have to be getting frisky in like May or June. Oh well maybe 4 month pregnancy’s are common in that family.

-Negative on the Faugeres, never even heard of it until now.

Gary, Happy Friday!!!! A great week of episodes.
QOTD- Dinner with friends, 3 couples one does appetizer, one does entree, and third couple does desert. Along with the portion of the meal we decided that we also need bring a wine with our portion of the meal. We have the apps this go around so it will be interesting. I am thinking of a white wine just because everyone tells me that they normally don’t like the white stuff but every time I break it out they like it. Have a great weekend.

QOTD: Spreading the Thunder show at two wine events this weekend for Valentines day, plus running in a 5K fun run on Sunday around Green Lake in Seattle, “Love Em or Leave Em” fun run.

Can’t wait ’til Tuesday !!! Pick me,pick me (I feel like I’m the kid on the playground in grade school hoping I don’t get called last). Keeping my fingers crossed. Cheers ~ Max
