I believe you are losing friends and vendors as you as honestly as possible give us your best effort in doing that thing you do. It is a sad thing however, and it makes me all the more appreciative of the skill and honesty you continually bring to your show. It truely is the most fascinating aspect of it. So thanks for once again laying it on the line and making us feel important to you. You walk your talk.

Easter is the big deal in my household. Saturday is prep day. Sunday we celebrate with family and friends. Maybe I should open an Oregon(e) Pinot!

Bought a 2005 Noble Medoc mini-bottle and popped it in the office (Sat afternoon Korea time) after taking my son to the bath house. A bit dry and hot (the wine), should be better in a few hours I hope. Tomorrow we’re playing Ultimate Frisbee down by the river, then toss some darts at home in preparation for Monday night league. Pretty average weekend overall.

FYI, not officially a “lurker”, but primarily a iPod viewer so I seldom comment.

QOTD: We are sleeping over at my fiance’s parent’s house saturday night so we can spend all of Easter sunday there. As you say, family first. It should be a lot of fun.

I saw Tift Merritt in concert last night, working today, and chillin for the balance of the Easter Holidays. [Oops……I mean Spring break]. Thanks for the peep of the vineyard. It’s amazing that such a fine wine come from the footage that you showed us.

Not too much goin on this weekend, just relaxing and doing some lab work and watching some basketball. And drink some wine of course.

It is going to be close to 80 degrees in San Diego so we are going to the nursery so the wife can buy lots of plants. Damn the bad luck, we will have to pass right by my favorite wine shop. This weekend is very chill, gonna play some Civilization later today, after heading down to the Win Lib to pick up my secret packs. I bought the last ones but didn’t want to open four bottles by myself, so I think for the first, I’ll do the one, and save the other two to share with friends — because that’s what it is all about, after all.

This weekend I am doing a beer and cheese tasting with friends who normally drink wine only. It is at restaurant/bar that has many interesting American and European beers so it should be fun. I think wine lovers should also like good beer and I am just learning about how good beer can be, after many years of not drinking the normal crap US beer.

Drank a 2001 Les Forts de Latour. And planning to pop a bottle of 2001 or 2002 Scherrer Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) tonight. Absolutely love Pinots.
