QOTD: Fri: ate Skye’s Gourmet Tacos (best in LA) with 1991 BV cab reserve Sat: Birthday party for pal from work (drank the wine I was going to give as a gift on Fri. ooops) Sun: Easter Brunch with fam.

Honesty is the best policy and you are a much better person when you keep to that policy.
So what if you lose a “friend” because you score their wine low – it means that they were never a real friend in the first place if they cannot take any critique for their wine.

QOTD: Saturday and Sunday spending it with with family. It’s also my wife’s 39th birthday on Sunday so I am sure we will be opening a special bottle that evening – most likely a Chateaneuf du Pape that she adores.

OK on TTT – which, can we move to Fri or Sat ? 🙂 This weekend a tasting, tomorrow no church as I’m a bad lapsed Catholic. Cheers to you in Sonoma!

QOTD: Catching up with family over the long weekend after a long break due to university.

Thanks for tasting the Barroux… I’ve got a bottle on the way! Also great to see exactly where the wine comes from, I’d love to be able to take a tour like that someday. The south of France seems to be putting out some great wines from little known appellations (i.e. Ventoux, Cotes Catalanes, etc).

QOTD: I’ve been working A LOT this weekend to pay my recent travel expenses. My mother & I are going to a pre-fix Easter meal at Opus in Bangor…and that’s about it. Wish I could be there next weekend (with my three wristbands)…but bills need to be paid. Cheers!

QOTD: We had our Good Friday Pizza Party and finished off the magnum of Edna Valley Syrah, plus a Vielle Ferme, plus a QVC Zinfandel which I disliked a lot. The nose really put me off. Kind of like catsup with maple syrup and petroleum jelly. Sunday, we’re going to my mother’s retirement home where they have a really good chef – used to work at one of the very nice restaurants here that went defunct because of a personal problem on the part of the owner. Ho, ho, ho.

well..this weekend, despite the fact that its halfway over i shall post anyway…i had a great day today, i might actualy land my first professional acting job, i rehersed on my current production Assassins, i went to a call-back audition, proceeded to nail that, and then went to work at The Container Store. Tonight, watched some Gary, gonna have some good wine, and think about a trip to mexico.
Then tommorow, gonna have a nice sleep-in with the hubby, cuddle up in front of the computer and watch a movie (its supposed to get cold and rainy tommorow) then head to church for easter service then over to the in-laws (PattyO,shes my mom-in-law) and have, im sure some more fantastic wine.

ps-My husband just met you when you came down to Austin, i was out of town though and i was so sad not to meet you. He said he had such an incredible time, and that you were such a genuine, down-to-earth, generous guy. Thanks for showing him such a good time, and you BETTER come again next year, and i promise i wont leave 🙂

I bought the wine so I finally can smell and taste what the HELL your talking about in all these shows- I drink for my my father, just so the old man can drink good wine and not crap, he doesn’t have a clue of what is good or bad, I’m trying to help, thanks for yours Gary.

Thanks for the show today Gary. I really feel it. It’s been a privilege to see you decant over the years (!) in front of the camera here on WLTV, particularly in the last few months. It does seem that we are getting a taste of some of that Santa Garyvee terrior since you came back, especially. More power to you.
