French wines in generally aren’t what I go for because they fear the new world style, especially french whites, unless it is a chenin

Agree with Giampapa above. I’ll go with Jadot. Anything more expensive, there are way too many nice whites that I’d rather try.

Today I enjoyed a Spanish white, Casamaro, Rueda, $12-14.

Next time I splurge, it will be on a Barolo.

QOTD: I just picked up a bottle of Paul Pernot Bourgogne Blanc, 2006. Fruit is supposed to be sourced from Puligny-Montrachet, and for 17 bones looked like a buy.

I don’t buy mush wine. I just watch the podcast for fun.

QOTD: I had a bottle of Bernard Morey Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru 2003 last Saturday. I’m not sure about my next bottle of white burgundy… but it’ll probably be a bottle of Meursault. I’d pick something from your book but, I would have to wait a month!
