Not such a weird show…so how did the wines go with the matzoh? I’d recommend the 2005 Syrah from the Ranchita Canyon Winery in Paso Robles. It’s their first effort and awesome!

  • Great show. Matzoh pairing (lol)….anything to break up the dryness of Matzoh! Although homemade sounds good. Herzog still remains one of the better kosher wines. Hey, I’d love to get a copy your book. Keep the great work.

  • Nice to hear about the good pours coming from WA!

Question; what foods are you eating to keep up your energy level?
Most days you really are so up it’s scary but cool at the same time…

Can’t wait to get the book! Loved the matzoh today.

Suggestion, from someone who has watched so many struggle with this, could you demonstrate properly opening a corked bottle of wine? Spent 20 yrs in food & bev biz training people, know it’s not easy at first, but know YOU, Gary, have the power to train the masses.

Thanks again for sending your energy out into the world.
    Love you, Bonnie

Not weird, just another great show with a different kind of fun and some great wine education. Me thinks that it’s about time for a winter Vaniac cruise into the beautiful Caribbean or Bermuda where we can lay in the sun and get toasted. Think it up Gary. Pick your cruise line and let us know.

If not recommend trying one on WLTV.

If you were stuck on a island (Hawaii live show?) what wines would you bring?

    Killer idea huh?

Kosher wines suck! Just kidding GV.

QOTD: I recommend the Coppola Director’s Cut Zinfandel 2005 which you sell at your store…Coppola’s history is bad but this vintage is terrific. It needs to air out for like 45 mins, but it’s got killer zin qualities. I had e-mailed you to taste it and you said you would, but you never did. I’m dying to see if you like it or not.

  • John S.

QOTD: I recommend to you have more guests itâ??s interesting to see a less experienced person try wine And to come down to my home state of Kentucky and hang out.

  • I’m going to have to recommend the 2005 Rocca delle Macìe Sasyr Toscana IGT.

I stopped at AJ’s Fine Foods on the way home tonight, and their wine guy asked if I needed anything. I told him that I was in the mood to try anything tonight. He gave me this nice Sangiovese & Syrah blend (60/40 respectively)–and at a $16 price point, I find it to be a very good value.
