Gary…to drive sales at Sam’s tell them they need a DVD looping WLTV with your book sitting in the wine section.

If that doesn’t work, enlist the Vayniacs to setup a tasting table and partner with a wine for a package deal. Local wine and the book for a special WLTV deal!!

Or better yet…film a WLTV episode from a store with a book signing…then send the DVD of that episode around to the other stores.

Ideas for Sam’s Club/ BJ

1. One simple idea might be to give away a free year’s membership to sames club. If you buy the book there you name gets put into a drawing. This might motivate, some non vayniacs who are just Sams Club/ BJ fanatics and would love a chance at a year’s free membership.

2. How about giving away three free tickets to show number 500 in San Fran, I think you said it was going to be $50.

3. Or how about hosting a special event at the winelibrary just for those who purchased the book at Sames club or BJ’s. Anyone who purchase the book at these places will get their name put into a drawing and the 25 people will be chosen to spend an afternoon with you at the winelibrary, you give them a tour, they get their book signed, take pics with you, you tape a special episode and you let them taste the wines with you. I know I contest like this would motivate me to buy the book again…LOL.
