As successful as your business is (and ask dear Sasha if I’m right) the best thing you’ll ever do, ever be in your life, is a parent. Hardest job but most rewarding. We have a tradition in our family, we don’t give gifts at birthdays and holidays but write letters. They are my most cherished possessions.

Last night at dinner (went to this great Italian-esque wine bar/pizzeria in Santa Rosa, CA called Rosso’s… pretty serious stuff.) my mom had a Gruner-Veltliner (I think that’s how you spell it…) anyways she really liked it, and I mentioned that you did an episode or two on it and she asked if you liked it and I said that you always like it when people try new stuff and it made her smile. 🙂

Hey, you’ve made a mistake!!! Arnot-Roberts is in Healdsburg–that’s Sonoma County, not Napa, and Clary Ranch is in the Sonoma Coast Appellation–also not Napa. I don’t know why you have Napa next to this wine, that’s the other side of the mountain…

Nice show, wines sounded interesting, doubt I’ll get to try any of them though.
