Can’t sell the books at Sam’s? Sorry to hear that. 🙁

Send ’em to Costco! They have a decent wine section (to complement the book) and I have been waiting and watching for your book to show up (not at ours yet!) I am certain I am not alone.

Anyway, gave up waiting and ordered a couple copies through a local bookstore couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the detailed, articulate analysis in plain language – and the recommendations. Am still trying to kick my sweet white habit and you are helping educate my palate.

Lurker with my 1st comment. Found your show on iTunes about 3 weeks ago. Fun to watch.

QOTD: I’ve dropped all mailing list subscriptions except for two: Quilceda Creek and Sine Qua Non. That’s enough money right there!

I learn terms to look for in wine, even if I refuse to pay $85 for a bottle. thanks!

  • QOTD: I’m on one list but the name escapes me now.

I’m on at least two more now though! I like this kind of show, I can see where being on lists can prove to be very valuable!

Hi …About your book not selling, its not too interesting to get a review of wines you’re probably not going to get ahold of. Your strong suit seems to be to the introduction and enthusiasium of wine. Take your first attempt at a book as a good lesson and try again. reward the critic, don’t get defensive.

QoTD: No, I’m not. There was a really great vineyard I visited in Niagara, and I wish I’d joined there list :~|

About Twitter: I’m already following you! -but- I’m wondering if we could convince you to start a habit of tweeting what *you’re* drinking, just with dinner, etc. Might be interesting.

I had a bottole of the Black Kite and I completely concur with your judgement. It is smashing.
Unfortunaely I bought it from Astor Wines and paid ten bucks more than you were selling it for. And I do mean were as, alas, you are now sold out.
As for mailling lists, I’m on Kosta Browne and Keefer Ranch, the pinot in tis first vintage from the legendary vineyard. I’m waiting for Kutch, SQN, Sea Smoke and several others which I seem to have no hope of getting wine from.
One word of warning thoL the shipping costs on these mailing list wines can be super-high, especially when compared to those of WL and other retailers. Count on at least $15 a bottle which I think is airway robbery.
One nice thing about Keefer Ranch is they appear to ship at cost, $5/bottle when I ordered. Another reason to check them out.
