Funny that you mention dandelion. I have a dandelion wine fermenting right now, sadly I won’t get to try it for at least another year.

QOTD: one of those rare American Formula One fans, Wine for the qualifiers and big barley wine or double IPA for the race.

I’m getting really bored with many CA wines. Overoaked fruit-bombs with absurd alcohol levels. All thanks to Robert Parker, who has done more damage to wine than phylloxera.

Yea Santa Cruz Mtns I used to live in San Jose and drive the Mountain to Santa Cruz almost every weekend. I have only tried one wine from there Savannah Chanelle Monmartre Alc. 16.9% couldn’t tell it was wonderful.

QotD: I would say my most noticeable unique characteristic is the fact that I’m tall. Most unique, though, is probably my singular inability to determine my own truly unique characteristics.

I would say that one of my most unique attributes is that I am a controlled storm of emotion and poise. I have been told that the clarity, calm, and ease of speech that I share my concerns or frustrations can be frustrating. I use passionate vocabulary and thoughtful meaning…but a calm, soothing voice.
