How excited are you, Gary??? I think we can all tell by the way you conducted this episode. Great enthusiasm! I like this concept a lot, except for the sideways camera angle and bluriness on the list!

PS: Went to JETS training camp today. Crowds are still redunkulous. Would be a great venue for a show (wink wink).

QOTD: Ok, it’s not really new, but the dry Rieslings have a lot of upside, I think. I’ve had several – one from New Zealand – and they have a lot of qualities I think people would want in a simple, exciting white wine.

Maybe it is good idea to publish pictures on the wine lists on web together with video 🙂

Gary! This is my first comment. I have been watching for a long time. I love your passion and integrity. This is a great new concept; it really mixes it up. I work in the restaurant world, so I really dig your new idea. We have, for Missouri, a really great wine list. Your energy and descriptions have really made a difference in my sales. Big ups! It would be great to see you come to Springfield, MO for dinner and talk about our wine list and food. We are killing it for privately owned businesses. Thanks again!

Was just right in that area of town last week….but ended up all the way downtown at Harry’s Bar for lunch….talk about nice wine lists;) Went with a Turley Old Vines to wash down a delicious hanger steak….good times!

Great idea for new show format. QOTD: I agree with Jesse that no one white wine varietal stands out this summer, but Torrontes may be a contender.

Great idea Gary, you really are taking this boldly where none has gone before. This is the kind of stuff that brings wine back to the people, in the situations they’re likely to find themselves in.

QOTD: Don’t know about New York, but in my little world Torrontés is the white of 2008.
