Beer. I like Miller Lite. I’m obviously a connoisseur. I wouldn’t drink any beverage that intentionally has Brett in it. Stop hating on us Pats fans, we can’t help that Coach used to film people, we didn’t authorize that, and he doesn’t do that any more. No one’s perfect. Are you perfect? I’ll have to try some Gueuez some time. I had a beer from Lindeman’s once and it was alright, but I think I would like that style without the fruit a lot more.

I’m formally a huge beer drinker, my first Lindeman’s was circa 2001-ish, I believe, and back then it rocked my face off. Never had the gueuze before, I’ll hunt it down when I get the chance. Thanks though, now I’m going to have to go out and throw a few dimes down on some brew tonight.

I love the lambic show, it is my favorite style of beer, even though the only lambic from your show that I’ve had is the Lindemans Framboise, but it consistently rocks my world (whether in a bottle or on tap).

Fantastic show!!! Alec seems very knowledgable and has a great sense of humor. Learned a ton about these beers, as I’ve never had a lambic.

We need more of him; every 1-2 mos!! How about a contest to find a nickname for him!! ex. Mottster, Vayniaks etc.

QOTD – You are doing fine. Could use a little less argyle, but your knowledge offset the attire.

QOTD: Trying just a bit too hard. Gary is naturally pumped and focused about wine. Argyle Alec (Dub-A would be my nickname suggestion), was forcing it a bit.

As far as content, the only lambic I’ve ever had was a framboise that my wife ordered when we were in college. I told her if I wanted fruit in my beer… well fill in the rest with anything negative that fits.

Actually, now that I’m on to wine and tasting anything that can be put in a glass or on a plate, I’d probably appreciate it more.

‘Flemish’ is not a language though, here in Flanders we speak Dutch, which is 95% similar to the Dutch language spoken in the Netherlands.

Lambic is from an area called ‘Pajottenland’, not (only) from the town of ‘Lambic’.

Alway nice to learn about other countries, so try harder next time 🙂

I am not a wine drinker, not a beer drinker (watching Wine Library for Gary’s charisma alone 😉 – BUT I do drink Framboise from time to time, it is totally awesome!

Sorry to be so late, worked all weekend and do not have access to the site. Very enjoyable, expanded my knowledge and was a fun episode.

Please Ric if you are going to say gary is an inhumane person because he doesn’t share the same “diet” as you…take that stick that is shoved so firmly up your a** out. Because somone had a difference in opinion than you….you feel personally attacked. I mean how do you know that this was his fault anyway. LOVE IT! I’m a sick Lambic fan, and Cantillion Geuze is my absolute favorite. Alec, I am insanely jealous that you got your hands on Russian River – we can only hope that they start exporting to the east coast again.
