I loved it when Mott chases Gary out of the room in the search for a clean glass. GV basically infers that although Mott couldn’t find clean glasses, he’ll find them no problem. Mott smacks this one out of the park when none are found, much to his delight and GV’s annoyance!

Yeah… somewhat informative (it would’ve been a lot better if I had one of those big-ass beers to enjoy while watching) but all in all, not the best way to wrap the 800’s in my humble opinion. Way to do your thing Schneider Mike – keep it up. GV – you have a future as a sportcaster!

I love it, great show, great chat and even bearable US sports banter!

QOTD: Hong Kong doesn’t have a great beer scene, especially in bars, were international largers dominate. Out in Hong Kong I tend to drink bottled beers, rather than the pretty average ‘brewed under license’ larger. teh selections often average, but I normally lean towards Japanese and Belgium offerings. When I’m back in Australia I normally try to drink as much of my mates’ excellent home brew as possible.

    Cheers guys, great show.

Drinking as a go-to beer….boddingtons when it is available because i love the creaminess!…also have had quite a bit of the lindemen’s lambic because my girlfriend loves it and I find it very interesting…

Love the racer 5. Probably my go-to beer as well. I was lucky enough to recently try the Russian River Registration IPA, which is astoundingly good. Great pine/cedar smell mixed with those peach gummy candies. Great, great stuff.

Sorry for the late comment, still catching up. Ummm… no Gary, you will not beat our asses on Monday night. Look what we did to Dallas when they had their final game in their stadium. Prepare for a steady dose of Rice, Heap, and Boldin. Way to get a lurker to come out.

  • I’m lucky enough to live in northern California and about 2 blocks from Russian River brewery. The beers there are great. I remember when they were selling Pliny the Younger (Triple IPA!) this year and the line went out the door and around the block. I heard they sold out of it within 2 hours… That’s got to be a first for a beer.

Another good brewery around here is Bear Republic. Their Black Bear Stout and Racer 5 (and Racer X) are great, plus they have excellent bar food and ambiance.

QOTD: Go to beer is going to have to be New Belgian’s Fat Tire or Lost Coast’s Great White for just everyday drinking. What’s holding me back? Money… And trying to prevent the dreaded beer gut from forming. It’s definitely not availability, the local supermarket carries about 60 different micro-brews. It’s a beautiful thing.

I would love to see more beer related material, I’m sure your brain is spinning with ideas Gary. Perhaps a Beer Library/Beer Library TV franchise in the pipeline?

Go to Beers are Blue Moon, Boston Lager and Sierra Nevada.

  • Hey Mike. I love IPA too! I’ve been drinking a lot of Stone Ruination IPA. It is fantastic! Since I live near a Central Market and Whole Foods I always have a great selection. I’m gonna have to try that Great Divide Stout.

More beer Shows! I love it!

I can’t tell what I’m more excited about — the great beer selection (GD is always a great choice) or the SIGNED WESLEY WALKER JERSEY.

  • This was so much fun to watch.
