Good topic – It was nice to see a tasting on medium end wines that are readily available. I personally like that better then state specific wines – like Texas, Arizona, Ohio, etc. I realize these really limit the attention of the viewers due to lack of availability.

It was nice to have a guest there … makes the show different.

QTD – 9 wins (no playoffs).

QOTD: I’m stretching it I think and going with 9. Mainly due to the fact that Alan Faneca and Darrell Revis is there (GOOOO STILLERS and the lowly Pitt Panthers).

Yay, Chappellet! As well as great Cab, and more, Don is historically known for the remarkable and elegant things he’s done to and for Chenin Blanc. Even when he was the first guy up on Pritchard Hill, he had designs on being something much more than ‘just another winery’. Vayniacs take heart. If forty bucks is too much, you can get an aproximation of the Cab’s outstanding and intense quality in the Mountain Cuvee Red Wine (blend). Like Snowden, production is rather small, but is available for limited times upon release. Raymond is still doing a fine job, from the newer, better than fair “R” to Generations, their finest.

I liked seeing you taste with Jim. His leadership at Revision3 will hopefully spread your show and philosophies across a wider audience. Good job. I’ve never actually heard anyone diss Jordan before. Not sure why, but I assume you have your reasons. Maybe you’re like me and just jealous that you can’t dunk; man I wish I could dunk. Later.

I’m definitely going to have to keep an eye out for the last three wines. I need to figure out where I can store some wine though so it can age. I live in Florida so, don’t exactly have cellars here.
