line of the day -there are loads of classic lines today but I had to choose one and here it is; (referring to a wine and Gingerbread house pairing) -‘kind of like a couple that have been married for a while, both laying in bed reading, not really doing anything’ (wink wink)

Wacky fun episode with loads of quotable lines. As a non-American the gingerbread house is such an American product…’hollywood food’

Gary, how about a show for your fellow Jewish brethren on wine pairings for matzo ball soup? latkes? MMMMM . Thanks!

QOTD : The Gobi – oh sorry – des(s)ert – Not big on desserts. I can never fit three courses in, and I would rather have the starter. If I had to shoose – A really top wuality vanilla ice cream is always appreciated. Or a chocolate pudding of some sort – real sticky, or a crumble, rhubarb.

QOTD: This time of the year I am in full panetonne mode. As Thoreau said,”Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, & resign yourself to the influences of each.” I love the foods and drinks of this season as well as every other(I cheer for imperial stout every year). What I want to know is what is your family holiday season dessert?

Anything made of rhubarb – not with strawberries, which dilute the flavor.
The more intense the flavor the better. As a kid we used to eat the stuff raw from our back alley like a celery stick, maybe dipped in a little raw sugar.

We’re not all taking your hard work for granted. Hopefully you still feel that some of us vaniacs are recognizing the effort and the dedication of the whole WLTV crew. We are forever indebted to all the thunderous inspiration you bring into our lives. Don’t give up on the minority who are loyal and appreciate all you have done, do, and hopefully will keep doing in the following episodes.

QOTD: I love chocolate…the dark stuff. I love chocolate cheese cake, dark chocolate with black coffee. (A coffee episode could be fun.)Aside from that, I’m not a big desert eater. I like sweets in limited quantity.

    Love y’all!
