QOTD: 1. Never hold a baby over your head while you are lying on your back. My daughter SPIT UP IN MY HER MOMS MOUTH!
    2. Don’t be afraid to act crazy and stupid and act like a kid with them too. Have spent thousands of hours playing with Barbies and she still remembers it well.
    3. Early years are easy compared to the teenage years. GET READY NOW!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! GARY YOUR THE MAN DUDE, THE MAN! CONGRATULATIONS! First your Gary V, then Santa V, now Papa V! PAPA V YALL!

hey in the Hudson Valley we dont have brands or ratings, so when you pay $15 to $20 for a bottle, its because that’s how much it costs to make wine in the Hudson valley.

haha dude that glass is comically over-sized.

O my goD i totally remember those awesome smelly markers.

wo wo wo, Gary with a weed reference?

qotd: i guess i dont have to tell you this since your rather successful, but start saving money for that kids college fund now. i did my bachelors at a state school; $50G. so if you want him/her to go to a real school, start saving.

  • Rowland

oh yea and read to them. and always take them to the Hudson Valley (nowhere else will do) to pick stuff like strawberries, cherries, apples, ect.

MAZELTOV!!!!!! So very very happy for you and your families. Nothing you will do as a businessman, husband, son, friend will mean quite so much as being a father. The best is yet to come. It’s hard to comprehend that you can love that much, that completely. Wishing you health and happiness and every good thing for your new life.

    Congratulations, Gary and Lizzy!

QOTD: Hmm.. I would say, ditch the Baby Einstein and competitive pre-school baloney and just let him/her be a kid! My husband’s advice was “Let ’em eat dirt” (translation: don’t be overprotective).

  • One thing I have noticed is, we are all born with a very short “mood pendulum”. You do not notice it growing in length and weight as you get older, but you will notice it in your child. The interesting part is, they will take you with him on those swings. You will glow with happiness when they start to smile, but when they cry and you can’t figure it out, it will take you down.

With my son it was pretty easy, nine out of ten times he fussed, he was hungry, even when you were sure that could not be it. ALWAYS CHECK THAT FIRST! This was consistent for six months or more. As they get older they develop more and more things to fuss about. But, what you get in return is more and more interaction and it keeps getting better.

Lastly, everything changes quickly. When your child develops some difficult behavior it will pass. When they start to do something that you love, it to will pass.

Enjoy the ride and start bottling sleep.

Congrats! My advise is be ready to learn A LOT! You life is about to change. Be sure to consider your wife’s feelings as she goes through a lot of changes and support her. When the baby comes, your life will be exciting and chaos until you all adapt. Good luck!

Congratulations to you, Gary and Lizzie!

Make sure your kids know that the two of you will always be there for them… no matter what is going on in your life, nothing is more important than your family. When they know that to be true, they will have the courage to soar!

Much love and God’s blessings to you both!

Congrats Gary. That’s a wonderful news!! Well, as a father of 2 amazing girls myself, I tell you to sleep as much as you can these coming months before the birth, as you’ll be sleeping much less during your baby’s first 2 months and you’ll definitely need to be fully charged :-)…Cheers

Congrats!!! Nothing beats being a Dad. When I first met you at the Library, my daughter was just born, now you’ll understand what Amazing really means, and what life is really about.

Oh, the markers . . . Mr. Sketch! they came in fruit flavors, lime and orange were my favorite. I think they were a Jersey thing.

Congratulations to you and Lizzy, Gary. Your life will be forever changed, but in a good way. Advice to you is to stay close to your children through the years. But, I don’t think I need to tell you that.

  • Hey Gary!

Vaynerbaby, huh? Everyone in your family must be Vaynerjumping for the past few weeks. Now, that’s something I’d like to see happening.

As important as your genes, you will share your thoughts too. I hope to see less of you from May 31st on.

Kind regards from a Brazilian Vaynerfan,
    Diogo (pronounced ‘gee-OH-go’)

    Gary,

Advice from a father of four daughters.

Enjoy your children when they are young and innocent. Take a lot of photographs to bring back good memories. They will be all grown up and off to college before you blink!
Do what your folks did: because it looks like they did a great job !

Have fun with your children…and try to have dinner together every day.

    All the best……
