I’m a single dad of 3 kids, and the best advice i can give you is not to listen to advice from anyone– Just trust your own feelings and use common sense. Plus, this is just your starter kid, you’re allowed to screw this one up and keep tryin’ till you get it right!! 🙂

Congratulations Gary! As a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 9, I don’t think you need any advice as I know you will do a great job. I do think I could have worried less as they were growing up–they all turned out great even though there were times I didn’t think that would ever happen! Just take the long view.

Have plenty of patience and do everything with love.

What fabulous news! Congratulations, Gary. Parenthood is such a joy. My little girl turns 2 in a couple weeks, and I can’t believe it. Time flies by so quickly so just enjoy every moment.

Congrats on the BIG news. What a wonderful change is about to come into your life. There is nothing better than becoming a parent. My wife and I have 6, they’re all adults now. We are waiting for our first grandchild.

QOTD: As it has been said before enjoy all the facets of baby care, projectile vomiting, diaper changing, etc. There is nothing to compare to the love a baby will add to your life.
