Phenomenal episode. First double blind ever, featuring less well known wine-growing states. All wines panned hard but that’s when the best one liners come out…and this show was full of them. Awesome

  • QOTD: Northwest Washington. New wineries are popping up all over the northwest although most of them are getting their grapes from east of the mountains. They suffer from the same problem that the wineries you show cased today in that they don’t have experienced wine makers. They are people just trying to make a living and know very little about how to make good wine.

    I love this episode. While you are right on track 99% of the time, its nice to see you have to give opinions without knowing what wine it is, much the same way most of us newer folk do!! I gotta tell you, just in the few weeka I’ve been around this site, 13 new wines, and even found one i can outright say NO to. PUT THE GLASS TO BED ALREADY!!!
