  • Difficult episode to hear with the room reverb. Interestingly, I had the Bressan Pinot Nero at Ombra in the Borgata last week and really enjoyed it. Went well with a veal ragu.

    Gary: Great guest and conversation! I started cooking in my early teen’s. I wish we had the quality restaurants in Reno that you can enjoy on the coast.

    Have only been to Boston one time in my life. I was 23 years old.
    That was 43 years ago. The chances that I’m going back again are kinda low.
    Did enjoy Chef Schlow.
    Out son is a celebrity chef, and while he does not work at restaurants, I can’t tell you how hard these people work. The hours are very long, initially the money sucks, and the student loans…….well, are student loans.
    But you can see the passion that Chef has for the food.
    I don’t know, maybe I will return to Boston some day.

So how could I not post on an episode about Boston. Although I’m familiar with Chef Schlow I have yet to visit his restaurants, but look forward to doing so.

    Anyways good episode and now to answer the QOTD
