Too bad they are apparently sold out of ‘the Kiss’ (it’s not listed as far as I can see). I’ve been somewhat disappointed in most of the wines from my state of origin, but I’ll keep my eye on Eagle Rock!

Late show today! I saw the title and was hoping Jonathan Newman might stop by to chat about wine. I swear the man rates wine on a 90-100 point scale.

I know this was recorded a while ago, but I love the old outro. Prolly doesn’t hurt that Pennsylvania rocks, too!

QOTD: Not really. I like a lot of wines that are sweet, but don’t do dessert wines.

Like the outreach/charity schtuff, GV! Keep it up.

Again, Gary does some good. It is a beautiful thing to participate in “local” events which support good causes. The wine tends to come in second.

Good deeds are always welcome and we, the vaniacs support you.

QOTD: I’m not a big desert wine drinker for no particular reason, but hometown wines are fun on so many levels.

PA whites–generally like them. Being from Chadds Ford, PA myself–plenty around here. I did find it vaguely humorous how this woman seemingly had no clue about her own wines. I got the feeling that much of the Vaynernation is more educated about wines than she is. Nice, nice lady though. And nice paintings in the background.

Fun, fun episode though never had a PA wine. I, like you, hate the Squealers though tolerate the Eagles. Love Westbrook since he always carries my fantasy teams.

QOTD: Right now, I would say a dessert wine from Uruguay called “Alcyone.” A chocolate infused elixir.

QOTD – I have several excellent dessert wines lately, starting with the “Le Gormand” from you secret pack a while back. I have enjoyed several ports and have a Sauturne that I will open soon.

I live in Reading, PA, but my mother in law lives in Wilkes-Barre, which is not far from Laporte.

And I am a HUGE Eagles fan (not to mention my Nittany Lions).
