Solid episode, I like the camera facing the opposite way, plenty of Jets memorabilia to enjoy

    Hey Gary!

    Happy 3rd birthday WLTV !

I was out tasting wine last night and got a prossecco that tasted exactly like your first wine. Just laughing about it with a flatmate. I remember saying… “I get sugar cane and granny smith apple on the nose” lol. With the time zone difference here in Scotland, I must have been drinking at the same time as you were! Funny coincidence.

QOTD: I loved your episode in the snow, I found it really fun and “pretty cool” lol.

I love WLTV, I ve been following it for about a year and a half and I always enjoy it ! Keep it up man!

  • Another great episode.

Wish I could order wine from WL.com but PA doesnt allow for shipping. I also find our local wine and spirits does not even carry the good wines you suggest.

Congratulations on 3 entertaining and informative years! You help keep wine fun and interesting.
QOTD: You’ve had so many great and memorable episodes, but the one that keeps coming to mind was the Jancis Robinson episode. That, to me, was like your right of passage into the legitimate world of wine icons. Keep up the good work!

Best thing in the past three years…Gary’s passion for wine. Second…the Chicago party.

QOTD: I would have to say that my fondest moment was probably meeting you and getting to be a guest on #425. My favorite guest that you had on was Charles Smith in #549…hands down classic! I was also glad to finally see that you got to see Eric Glomski and M.J.K. on the show.

Congtrats, G, on 3 awesome years. I’ve only been on board for a little over one, but, have gone back watched most every ep. that I didn’t catch before I jumped on. Keep pumping ’em out, keep loving what you do, and most of all, congrats to you and your wife on your baby!!

QOTD: So many, but, from a pure fun factor ep. 595 w/Ingrid Hoffman. I was just glued to the screen watching her get tipsier and tipsier by the moment. Great stuff. I also really enjoyed the ep. with you and your boys (the Shiffrin Zin. ep.) were just sitting back, telling stories, and sipping on some vino. Very natural and fun.

Thanks for everything, Gary. I really appreciate what you’re doing and will continue to watch as long as you’re on and keeping it real.

Congratulations on 3 great years!! I have been lucky enough to watch for at least half of the time. There were many great episodes so it is hard to pick only one. One that sticks out is with Jim Cramer.

QOTD: Episode #226 because Gary gives a shout out to my two boy’s WLTV parody,

QOTD: I’d say around episode 415-416 is important to me because that’s when I started watching. I’ve been here a year.

Congrats on 3 years of incredible energy and passion. My favorite moment was the party last October, when I hopped on the bus last minute from NYC and partied with the Vayner-nation. Hopefully I’ll get to make a toast to you again soon.
    Best,
    Harry

    QOTD:
Other than the first show I saw, which has made me watch every show since,
I would say whichever show introduce me to Petite Syrah.

QOTD: “Bastion Booger of wines” reference forgot which episode but that was by far the best WWF reference ever made.

?OTD – it’s gotta be the expand your palette episode even though it was before I was a regular. A close 2nd was the Jancis episode. My jaw hit the floor when I hit the link that day.

Thanks for keeping the same level of energy these years, Gary!

  • Phil G

    Yeah for 3 years!

QOTD – Lots of highlights, hard to pick one favorite. The best moment that I can think of would be when you said something like, “this wine has more wood than a junior high gym class” and then you tried to bite your desk. That was funny.

Otherwise, I would have to say some of the guests were great. Jeffrey Davies and Jim Cramer were some of the best there…

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WLTV!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

The crew has brought so much to my own universe of endless wine discovery and enjoyment. Without WLTV and Gary, my knowledge and wine self-esteem would probably not be what it is today. I’ve learned above all to “trust my own palate” and to enjoy what I enjoy. I’ve also learned that wine is not always pretentious and over-the top bourgeois stuff. You can be an everyday Joe like most people, as I am, and still be wine-savvy.

Thanks to the whole crew at WLTV! Keep pumping the shows and we’ll keep watching.

    Love y’all!

    p.s.
almost forgot the QOTD: Each show has its own “cachet”. I enjoy seeing how much Gary loves the vino, but above all, I enjoy the guests who share our passion for the stuff. People like Randall Grahm and Jancis Robinson are always fun to watch and listen to.
