Happy 3 Years!!!

QOTD: There are so many that this is difficult. The one that first came to mind was the bubbly in the snow!

QOTD: I have been viewing WLTV for 2+ years and there are so many episodes that I’ve watched multiple times – for education, entertainment and for the vicarious experience of tasting rare and expensive wines. My favorite guest appearances have been Jancis Robinson and Jefferey Davies.

Congratulations Gary! There’s really no one like you out there in the wine world.

Congrats to all, past and present, on 3 wonderful years of WLTV. While I didn’t buy a secret pack this time, I already had the 2nd two wines in my (very quickly) growing collection.

QOTD: My favorite moment of WLTV has to be one of the first episodes I ever saw (yes, I’m a newcomer, but I’ve since gone back to view the episodes from the beginning): The 2008 Christmas secret pack, particularly, the Puech Haut Tete de Belier review.

I was tasting with my mother, father, brother, and one of my sisters; and as Gary started describing what he tasted, we all looked at each other and simply smiled from ear to ear. Gorgeous…what an absolutely great wine.

I immediately tried to buy a case, but WL was sold out. I ended up buying a case a month later after they did inventory and “found” some more. Anyway, since then we were all hooked, and I’m considering buying another case.

Keep it up! I hope to continue to introduce–with your help–my family and friends to great wines from all over the world!

Congrats on the three years! I’d have to name Two Buck Vaynerchuk as my fave for sure.

QOTD: SO many good times… Maybe the first outdoor episode in the HAIL STORM, or the episode with Sasha tasting along, or ANY OF THE SIR GARY VAYNERCHUK EPISODES!! I loved the fact that you took a shot at all the pretentious wine snobs out there with that character! Too many great memories to name them all… But I’ll never forget the opportunity you gave me (and all of us) to be a part of making the Vayniac Cab and the time I spent at Crushpad sorting fruit and punching down during fermentation. Thanks for everything, and congrats on the first 3 years!!!

The episode in the hail storm was probably my favorite as well. You are a great resource when trying to find new varietals because you keep changing it up. That is perhaps the greatest strength of the show. Thanks for all.

QOTD: Favorite moment was when I first discovered you existed a few weeks ago. I havent been the same since. I spend too much money on wine now and am a better wine drinker for it.

QOTD: watching one of the KOSHER episodes in my kitchen a year ago and getting bombarded with negative names like “pretentious” from family members. They no longer think that smelling wine is pretentious (or at least they don’t bother me about it anymore).

Great three years! I’ve been on board for about half of that run.
TQOTD: the Cramer episode and all shows shot outside have been my favorite (along with the Training your Palate show). Hard to pick just one.

There all great.But until I watched you I was stuck in the same 3 bottles of wine trap, thanks for expanding my palate. I love wines from all over now and look forward to trying more. In fact, just got back from Sonoma to check out some “cults”.Thanks again,you really make a difference.

The thanks all goes to YOU Gary. Thank you for three years of educating, edifying and entertaining us all. I think education is the first and most important word because you have taught me so much over the last three years, and really insisted that we break out of our molds and try new things…all the while admonishing us to trust our own palates.

QOTD: Though I loved the shows outside, all the Vayniac intros, special guests, trips, cheese, etc., I think my favorite episode is 148. I have shared that show with SO many people that it has to count as my all-time favorite episode.

Gary, congrats on making it to three years. I have watched the show since it debuted on Rev3 and continue to subscribe on itunes and watch as many episodes as possible. My favorite moment might have been watching you on Conan O’Brien, but I have also really enjoyed the blind tastings and varietal-specific episodes. Just a really well made podcast, and the dedication is evident. Don’t stop making this awesome show.

Picked up the pack this week and cant wait to try the Leeuwin

Didn’t have the secret pack, but already bought the Leeuwin and Monpezat and really like them both.

QOTD: It’s a tie between #148 (Gary eats dirt) and #403 (Sasha, Mott, and Pipes). Both a lot of fun and capture the spirit and fun and information that’s in the best of these.

QOTD: One of your funniest moments was the episode where you walked on camera with a “Jets” lunch-box in hand. You sat down with a grin on your face, opened the lunch-box and pulled out a wine glass…was it the “big-ass glass”? How else would Gary bring his wine glass to work? lol

I missed the first couple years but have been enjoying most of the episodes since starting. One of the great moments is when there’s a new episode after a few days off. I also liked the ice wine episode!
