line of the day – ‘there’s a baby oak monster brewing in here’

Solid episode, I like the camera facing the opposite way, plenty of Jets memorabilia to enjoy

QOTD: Dirt and Cristal, baby, can never go wrong with a combo like that.
Speaking of training the palate I’ve been eating strawberries leaves and all and I am surprised at how many wines have the “leafy Strawberry” flavor profile.

QOTD: The recent episode when you had the first major spill and rushed off camera to soak your shirt in an attempt to avoid the wife’s wrath. Instant classic!

QOTD: My bday shoutout from this past year and the episode when you said, “It’s not like some other things when you get seduced and there’s nothing underneath…(pause and look at the camera)…strippers.”

  • Congrats. It takes a lot to pump something like this out for 3 years.

    QOTD: “Link that up, Vaynerchuk!”

Additional congratulations for your third year of service and education. Looking forward to many more years of knowledge and good times.

QOTD – The interaction and love you show your father. My father left this world October of 2007 and I miss him so much. It is so good to see you and your dad have the relationship that I know you cherish. God be with you both.

Once again Gary, awesome secret pack show!
qotd: out of selfishness I’d have to say episode 147 in which you made a toast to my very good friend Sid Whorl (“let’s give it a whirl”) who is no longer with us. The phone rang and it freaked you out! I still say it was Sid calling! Let’s make it another 3 years you stud!

I love this episode. I think you’re on to something. Ship out wines and once a month do a “tasting with Gary” video. This way we can taste what you’re tasting. We can sniffy sniff what you’re sniffing.

    I love this!

  • Happy 3rd Year Birthday Homey!!!!!!!

    MANY MANY MORE…..

  • My fondest show was when you announced your baby is coming. I know that was your biggest announcement ever although yuo said many of them in the past were. The book, the cruise, all the secret packs, etc…..

But really Homey….. the biggest news you can ever tell anyone is that you are having a baby. Then the next biggest news will be when it is born.

    Congradulations again Brother!!!!!!!!!

If he or she is half the person you are they are going to be the coolest kid on the planet.

QOTD: Any where your father drops in. Love seeing the family bond there. Gives your energy a little “aww shucks” component, “which I like quite a bit”. 😉

Congratulations GVTV! Three years is a great achievement.

QOTD. Great guests are my favorite, Jeffrey Davis, Jancis Robinson, Jorge Ordoñez. Blind tasting is a lot of fun for the viewer. I also enjoyed the one about cellar designs, a nice side aspect of wine.

  • congrats, G. qotd… from the same ep, either when you put white pepper in you eye or when you realized the cloves were numbing your mouth, made me laugh right out loud.

  • I’ve had the Frizzante and for me the dominant elements were minerality and it was very, very dry. I enjoy dry wines (red and white) but the dryness of this wine detracted a little from the overall enjoyment.

  • GV: Congrats on 3 great years of WLTV!

One of the shows I remember most was Ep. 519 – Lambic Beer Tasting with Alec. So funny and odd at the same time. Between Alec talking about pot and his terrific ?we are always looking for good head? remark ? I rated him a 98, which is surprisingly what I normally rate bacon! Great stuff!

Keep up the good work and keep spreading the Thunder to thousands!

My favorite episode is somewhere in the high 400s (Future Cult Wines?) where, in discussing the presence of the oak monster, you picked up a chair and chewed on the leg. Great stuff, my twin girls still roar when they see that bit.

Congrats on three fabulous years! You have, by far, taught me more about wine and fueled my desire to gain more knowledge than anyone!

QOTD: I have many favorite episodes, but, to be honest, the episode last July, when you gave a shoutout to my daughter and wife for their birthdays, was my (and their!) fave!

    Keep up the fantastic work!

3 Years! God Bless! Keep it going – we love it.

QOTD: That’s like asking what is my favorite wine – impossible to
pick just one. The Charles Smith episode(s) really stand out
for me. He was a great guest and an even greater character.
