That may be gary’s long lost relative. very entertaining and informatative and it’s great to listen to someone so passionate who could probably care less for a RP score, or mass marketing, or even perhaps what the average person thinks of his wine.

i tasted the clos de la burg. last year, , , i didnt enjoy the flavor profile (ultra vegital) but it was my favorite wine of the tasting. . . if that makes any sense.

Yes you can make delicious, balanced, ‘perfect’ wine by blending and selecting only the best grapes from different vineyards and regions (as so many back labels proudly trumpet) but ‘perfection’ is VERY, very different to ‘personality’.

I just want to say this is my favorite episode along with k vinters (Charles Smith). I thought it was very insightful and i like the fact that he took his time to explain his background and the process. I also like the fact that he was on for more then 30min guest like that should be on for a min of an hour he great. I would of like to see a three part episode but at least you did three. GREAT JOB!!!

What can I say, but WOW! This is going down as my favorite episode. Here you truly have two passionate people, and you guys work SO well together in this episode. I frankly found myself hoping that you didn’t get to the tasting as I was enjoying the conversation so much.

Then, to my very pleasant surprise, I find that this will be a two-part episode! YAY! Really can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this one. This was your best guest yet GV – thanks for bringing SERIOUS thunder on this one!
