Very cool dude you got here! I love the start of this series…and the fact he called out that white wine should be enjoyed at room temperature for full expression is fanstastic stuff.

Great show, very interesting point about the “scores”.
I wonder how many producers homogenize their wines to what they believe will get them a higher score, instead of a unique, individual taste.

Hey Gary,

Like everyone else. This is one of my favorite episodes. I bought 20 acres of land out here in Washington that happens to have 9 acres of 30 year old chardonnay. I plan on planting grenache and syrah next year. But, more importantly, I will be in the process of converting it to biodynamic. Friends of mine planted the biodynamic riesling for Pacific Rim and I am astounded by the results. They will be assisting me with the project.

People like Nicolas are a real inspiration to me and my future goals with viticulture as well as assisting nature (i.e. winemaking). I can’t wait to hear Part II.

best episode ever. my girlfriend grew up on an organic farm making her own wine, and with the wisdom in the way this guy talks, its is like listening to a symphony.

This is a great episode. It is so fascinated to see how much this man knows and also to have a guy like gary pick his brain is fantastic. I can really feel their passion for wine and it makes me think of my love of comedy and i think it’s a beautiful thing that i can relate too. I am really pissed however that i have to wait for part two, what is this show lost all of the sudden.
