Don’t let the negative comments about the Mezcal show get you down. I LOVED it. In fact, I wish you would do more shows like that (yes, I realize this is a wine show, but I have really enjoyed the spirit, beer and cheese shows you’ve done in the past).

QOTD1: I don’t believe I’ve ever had a Pomerol but am interested in trying one soon.

QOTD2: Top 2 will have to be Danny Gokey and Adam Lambert. I’m torn, I think Adam is too screechy so Danny is my #1 if I must pick one.

good show. I also like the Pomerol wines. Right bank has been under rated by Americans for a long time. Would like to see a show on the new release 2007 Oregon Pinot Noirs

Never had a Pomerol (to my knowledge), but that will change now. I’ve read about the region a bit in the past, and it sounds like, due to its relatively small area and the size of their vine acreage, that it would be a great place to visit. Sounds like it would have more a vintner family atmosphere with all of the wineries being small producers.

Anyway, great show, I’ll have to pick one up now if i can find one under $40!

Oh, and I don’t watch Idol (GASP!).

QOTD…. i have to admit… I don’t watch that at all. Scratch that, I DO watch the first few eps at the begining of the season, just to watch the crashes. After that, I’m gone. So I’ll guess, contestant # 3?

Great episode. As a mid-20’s, former CKC, on a just slighty above CKC wine budget, I have a very small collection of wines I’m saving. And I hate it when you open a wine from the collection and it doesn’t live up to expection. (i.e. 2003 Laetitia Single Vineyard ‘La Colline’ Pinot Noir, cost $60, cellared for 2 years and was very disappointing).

QOTD #1, I’ve only had one Pom and enjoyed. Once my wine budget grows, I plan on trying more French Bordeauxs and Burgs, but for right now I can only afford the Rhones. Much better QPR.

QOTD1: I can’t say I know anything about Pomerol, but I will certainly keep an eye out for it on the store shelves (damn you PA).

QOTD2: As much as I would love a shot at some free WLTV schwag, I can’t bring myself to guess at a winner. Reality TV is horrible and I don’t watch any of it! It has ruined TV and added to the slow decay of our society.

I liked this abbreviated Flip Ep better than yesterday’s show.

QOTD: I LOVE Pomerol. Merlot done right ROCKS. I popped a bottle of ’03 La Gay when a friend of my wife, Elaine, visited and it blew away an ’04 Pichon Baron.

Regarding American Idol, never watch it and/or Dancing With the Stars either, although I did see the Woz push the envelope last week when I was channel surfing.

Speaking of TV shows, Gary I always thought you could fit in on a LOST show in some hatch on the island tasting Dharma Merlot with Desmond.

New to this scene (not to wine but to this show). Love it!!
