QOTD: Currently I am drinking H20 from the reverse osmosis machine at my work. Though I also occasionally enjoy a nice cold and crisp Diet Coke with a twist of lime over ice.

Excruciating. There’s nothing worse than listening to a wine newbie arrogantly expounding his view on wines. Kind of like listening to a 15 year old telling you his extensional views on life, as if he were the first one that ever considered the topic.

Nice show, liked your guest! One thing Gary: I think you need to check your facts about how rose is made. I’m pretty sure it’s usually made by bleeding the juice off the skins before it’s had enough contact with the skins to turn it really red. I think there are a few ways to make it though some involving adding a little red to a white.

QOTD: iced water with a little lemon preferably, hot tea – green or black, and in the morning I like caramel truffle coffee with 1/4 cup frothed skim milk sprinkled with cocoa powder and cinnamon and shaved chocolate.

You need to try this Maryhill Winemaker’s Red 2007, for the $13-14 it goes for it is an incredible value in smooth wines. Definitely a great curl up on the couch with popcorn kind of wine.

I am also a heavy Tea Drinker, get some of the “Milk Fragrance” Oolong Formosa for a great middle of the road priced tea. For about 2x’s the price, but similar style, get the “Tung Ting” Oolong. It is more aromatic and flowery with less mouth feel.
