Ha! J&A rock, it’s a shame people who watch this regulary don’t understand J&A’s style and took this way too seriously

I absolutely love Jake and Amir!!!…ridiculously awesome!!!

Your show is losing appeal, content rarely brings the thunder for the passionate wine peps. Maybe if you had filmed for 9 hours the college humor boys could have said something funny or maybe even entertaining. I am a college student and dont feel the need to act like a jackass.

Tip for Gary, best to follow this disappointing effort with a focused and informational show

I liked it. I got into winelibrary tv because of the first college humor episode so its fun to go and see another installment. I will agree that I was kind of hoping for them to take it a little more seriously but I had fun and thats all that counts. I would like to see a college humor and Bleep Bloop mesh were you guys taste wine than get a little drunk, THan review video games. that would be a fun episode!

The only people who didn’t find this or J&A funny were just pompous morons who don’t have a sense of humor. This was the first WLTV episode i’ve ever seen and i’ll be seeing a lot more of it thanks to seeing the link on J&A’s site!

It’s a shame some people don’t understand J&A’s characters and for those who hate on them……hundreds of thousands of viewers can’t be wrong!

Sorry GV but this show BLEW monkey chunks, nothing you could have done better. I honestly was cringing at times and felt bad for you having to endure it. Amir is a douchebag and unwatchable. I get that he’s trying to be funny and wasn’t, but come on maybe take it a LITTLE more seriously!

Two of the biggest jerk offs I’ve ever seen in my life. Gary, I know you were thinking WTF am I doing with these two. The episode was unbearable. If this was any indication what our future college grads are like, we are in big trouble.

I found the posting from Amir very well written and heartfelt, and kinda felt bad…(except for where I called Jancis Robinson awkward, I still think that) Funny enough, this marks the most comments I’ve ever read.

I was distracted by the guests. GV must have been as well. I always pan down to preview the wines before I start the episode and was happy to see I had tried and enjoyed all three wines in the past. I really liked the two bottles of Chateau Pesquie that I picked up last fall. GV, give it another try without the distraction. I’m going to give it another try this weekend.

I couldn’t even watch to the end of this show, man. I know you meant well, but these guys are buffoons – wine is supposed to be fun, but I also watch this show to learn. The College Humor guys did nothing to help that process for me. Sorry, I give this show a pazzzzzzzz with 8 z’s.

Great episode. Jake and Amir are hilarious. I watch them all the time. And yes I’d buy all that you have from you Amir.

I’ve been watching your show for two weeks now,watched like 30 odd past episodes. This is the first time i felt disappointed. I think your doing a grear job here, I’m gulity of being an ex lurker. HaHa

I feel for you GV, truly tough to watch. So I have a QOTD: What do you call a guy that is between Beavis and Butthead?? the back End…Oh Just a little humor on par with those guys.

Alright, after reading all these comments I find it hilarious of two groups of people. The people who are taking their dislike of Amir and Jake so far it’s just silly. Yeah, i didn’t think it was funny, and I understand the type of humore they try, just does nto work in this situation and overall not the kinda of humor I like, but hey, more power to them for finding a nitch, just hope they stay away from WLTV in the future. The other group is accusing everyone who didn’t like it of being stupid and not understanding what they are doing. Guess what, many people exactly understand what they are doing, like myself, but just don’t find it funny in any way. I like Gary trying to reach out to younger crowd, and a younger crowd that isn’t already into wine. That’s what he wants to do, reach out to new wine drinkers, just think there is a better way to do it. Hope the next episode is better, but one bad show does not ruin WLTV.

I am a lurker and don’t usually leave a comment BUT-I hate to see the college guys getting slammed so hard. I didn’t really love the episode either but they are just kids trying to be funny and have a good time. The hate comments with violent tendencies are a little scary. I love WLTV and will continue watching, college kids or not. I guess the hardest part was trying to hear GV over the mumbling. Keep up the good work Gary-I’ll still be lurking! And by the way, you sure tapped into something as the comments are skyrocketing-your intention maybe?

I love Jake and Amir and I love that the lonely island’s album “incredibad” is in the background too.

Yeah I’ve been watching for over a year now and I’m really hoping never to see another college humor show again. I just want to take both of those guys and shove them into a wood-chipper with a huge grin on my face knowing that I just made the world a little bit better. I’m twenty one and I have a better perspective on life than they will ever have because they are too busy being superficial and “quirky.” May be somebody should force them to smoke their beloved pot, tie them down with their eyelids kept open, make them watch four hours of bill hicks stand up, and then hand them a gun at the end so that they can take care of it themselves.

Didn’t hate it… it’s just a different kind of humor than what we are all used to here on WLTV. But I did like the Other College Humor guys you had on before better.
I dodn’t thinkI’d buy any wine for twice the price I’ve paid before… unless of course it was “redonkulous”ly awesome and I couldn’t get it anywhere else… or it was table service at a club in Vegas….

i watched this as a jake and amir fan and enjoyed it. i was gonna watch some more episodes but after reading the comments i don’t really want to anymore, you all seem to hate that a couple light hearted guys who don’t like wine were on the show and are ripping them for it.
and no, they are not high at all, idiots.

I have read most of the comments, GVs apology and Amir’s post as well. Maybe us Vayniaks that did not like this episode got a bit out of hand (me too…)

Gary, don’t stop taking risks like that. It was unfortunate that the whole thing did not click for some reason, but I love the fact that you diversify and keep us and yourself on our toes. If you just talked about wine, had wine people, and were sterile and clinical as all other wine blogs and shows, well… then you would not be Gary Vay-ner-chuck, by another wine guy…

You got me into wine because of your casual, goofy style, I was always put off wine because of the pretentiousness and seriousness that came with it, and here comes a guy talking about wrestling, football shouting, laughing, goofying around, but in the end delivering amazing wine knowledge and spot on reviews. Most of all, opening our eyes to wines from any region of the world, diversifying our palates.

Yeap, this episode was a miss in my mind, but still risks like that should be taken, please don’t become another sterile wine-reviewer…

Oh, and all us that hated Amir, we DO understand he was in character, it was just that this character did not sit well with the show, did not click with GV, and was disruptive in the reviewing process.

WTF?…WTF? Did they taste wine on this show today? Was Gary Vee there?
Was this WLTV? I’m confused, so I’ll go watch some archived episodes now to restore my understanding of why I tune into this on a daily basis. I’m sorry Gar, I think you’ll see if you search my tweets & ect that I am a HUGE fan of you as an entreprenuer, a brand, a motivational person, ect, ect..however it would not be cool if I wasn’t honest in my Reply to this epp. I didnt like it, wasn’t “WINE” enough for me. Not saying there’s not an audience for this out there, as a matter of fact I’m sure many people really enjoyed this. Bottom of my list for repeat viewings though. Looking forward to you reading some comments next episode, and rebounding with the thunder.
