  • Gary,

Thanks for having me! I was disappointed we didn’t have time to do all four, but I think it went great.

By the way, the fourth brand just got listed on DUNY. http://www.drinkupny.com/Pacifique_Absinthe_Verte_p/s0778.htm

    Cheers!

  • QOTD: I would imagine its Australia, no googling here. I’m just going to guess Australia, but my 2nd choice would be Italy, probably. 3rd would be Japan. 4th would be, Greece, I guess.
    I suppose thats enough guessing.

    Great show Gary. Loved it!

    QOTD…And the answer is….http://geography.about.com/library/faq/blqzlongestcoastline.htm

I’ll give you a hint. It’s not Brazil, Chile, Russia, China or Australia

Thanks for the info on Absinthe. I had it once and hated it. This will make me want to try it again.

PLCB carries several Absinthes. The one with Van Gogh on the box is by the register.

  • Shannon

Pretty fascinating show. I’ve had abisinthe once, and really didn’t care for it. Of course, there was fire involved so, I guess that was bad. Anyways, I love it when you take a break from wine and become a learner like the rest of it.

Very nice. A quick detour into a world of differences.

I’ve had absinthe before. It was called Versinthe. I enjoy licorice and the whole absinthe thing. My question would be: “Is the French pastis the same as absinthe?”

    QOTD: Canada!

Fun show! Thanks for the education!

  • BruceP

QOTD: Canada is the answer (Google). I was going to guess Indonesia, but it was a distant second.

  • greta

Great show! I actually just tried St. Georges absinthe (from Alameda) a few days ago & it was great, so I am glad to get more info!!
