Good laid back episode, glad the guest said ‘no’ a couple of times and stuck to his guns when asked if he detected a particular flavour. Most guests cave in immediately and say yes, even though you know they haven’t tasted it. As GV says, there is no right and wrong when it comes to one’s own palate.

    QOTD: It’s gonna end after 5000 shows. TimF, great guest! I loved the 05 Relentless at a tasting out at Shafer, but for the money, it was tough to pull the trigger…so I bought HSS instead 😉

    Wow, possibly the most laid-back Friday yet. It was great to have you both just hanging out over wine- very fun.

    (morbid) QOTD: I’ll say the same thing I said yesterday- I hope it doesn’t end for a long, long time. Even if we have to go to just 1-2 shows/week as Gary gets busier with Vaynermedia and family life. But my hopeful answer would be whenever Gary retires, if that ever happens!

Champagne, caviar, and big-league, that’s when it’ll end. Not after a few years of live shows in the Meadowlands, though ;-).
