Don’t care about numbers, just eager to see the phone ring so GV can be a dad. In had a 1977 Reiussac this year and that was my number one though several Tokaj’s were close. I have never had a late harvest Viognier and will have to try now.

QOTD… my own Blackberry- Raspberry wine, it didn’t ferment completely so it had some residual sugar I often want to pour it over Ice cream or pancakes.

Early congrats GV incase I don’t make it back on here before the big day.

Easily 2005 Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume, great desert producer. Mott is absolutely the greatest camera man of all time, sorry Erik.

LOL — saying Viognier has made a stir is like saying people should start thinking about rose for the summer!

QOTD — 2000 Chateau Dereszla Tokaji Late Harvest (90)
pt 2 Mott is awesome on the show but pita in the forums (just kidding)

  • Have not had any late harvest Viognier. Going to have to get some now. Headed up to Lodi in July. Maybe that one.
QOTD: A late harvest cabernet, oddly enough, and I can’t remember the vintner. It was fun and very plum/raisiny. Went well with lava cake.

haha fun episode gary, shorter, but i still felt the love. I think Mott has a true shot at the hot seat, you seem to be hinting towards the end of the show – – I DONT LIKE IT – – nobody could replace the GV, even Mott… Mott your still awesome, a very good cameraman and you keep Gary in line

It’s countdown time for the Vaynerchuks.
Hang in there big guy. It’s going to be a blast.
As for the, oh yeah, wines……….
don’t do many desert wines, but recently had a pretty good Santa Julia Tardio from Mendoza. Like drinking a yummy sweet fruit bowl.
    Gotta love the Mott.
Still smiling about the “power washing” comment yesterday.

  • zonk59

    Never had a desert wine,
    Mott’s cool

    Gary,

LHV’s are fun – some interesting ones are popping up in Virginia.

Thanks again for hosting us last Friday night, my father and I had a great time and enjoyed meeting you.

The last desert wine I had was a 2005 Domaine des Baumard Coteaux du Layon Clos de Sainte Catherine – you gave it 95pts.

Lito Sheppard is overrated by the way.

Gary! – Don’t start any rumors about my boy Rip. Baseball has enough villains, and he is not one of them.

QOTD: Can’t remember any specifics, but I do enjoy white dessert wines that have nice acid and are not too sweet. I also like to have of red fruit bombs as dessert wines sometimes to sip after dinner.
