Great Show, but can you put on some subtitles please???

QOTD:Nope, I can’t tell the difference, but I kinda see what you mean about the “balance.”

“The way the french do it: a bunch of hooligans in cardigans get together…”

Great collection of one-liners from Mr. Daniel Schuster. A highly entertaining guest.

Okay, I’m down to try it at $50, but $100? boy that’s a bit much. LOL.
Nice job on this show Gary, I enjoyed Mr. Schuster quite a bit.

QOTD: Perhaps, I think Merry Edwards has a distinctive female touch.

But New Zealand has me thinking of Kim Crawford, originally assumed a female and later found out he’s a guy!

    LOL!

Best wishes for the (any minute!) new baby Gary!

  • Yes, hands down, this is near or at the top of the list but my only question is who was he looking at the entire time? His importer? Just curious.

But what an amazing lookout on life and he was sharp as a tack. “The new one is from Germany and drinks beer so who knows maybe we’ll see some white smoke soon.” Man o man. And he’s not too crazy about the French! 🙂

Good job and great show. Starts the weekend off right.

QOTD: No, since I never think about whether a man or woman made it. Interesting concept though.

    Cheers!

  • Can you imagine him playing the part of The Ladies Man on SNL with a bottle of his pinot instead of Courvoisier? Now that would be funny.

QotD – Not necessarily so, but given familiarity with the work of some of today’s superstars, it is possible without much difficulty to pinpoint many of their specific efforts… The elegant finesse in some of Helen’s Marcassin wines and Delia Viader’s namesake, the hyper-spectacularly bright vibrance of Pam Starr’s S.B. The beautifully balanced muscularness of wines by Heidi Barrett and Karen Culler. Many easily outperform all takers, either male, OR female. Witness the Merlot from Mia Klein’s label Selene. I’d take that wine over Petrus ANYDAY, but especially in a price comparison throwdown.

Let’s hear it for the ladies!!! Cheers, girls.

BEST GUEST EVER! I thank everyone involved, especially Mr. Daniel Schuster. I loved hearing him speak about wine and everything else he touched on. Don’t worry about the people who still complain about your interviewing, Gary, I think you do very well in the unedited format and that some people don’t understand how different it is as such.

I’m not sure I could tell the difference between wines made by women or men, but I do think those made by women often have a marvelous sense of balance and that women are generally more in touch with that kind of thing.

One of my fav guests ever. Too bad it didn’t go for three parts. Felt a bit rushed near the end. Would be a great guy to hang out with and crack a few bottles of vino with.

    qotd: of course

    A amazing 2 part serie!

The guest was fun, laid back, knowledgeable, etc. I shall seek his products.

QOTD: As pets are a reflection of their owner, I believe wines are also an extension of the wine maker. Therefore, in a well-made wine, the personality of the “carpenter” will obviously stand out. I’m not saying that man-made or woman-made wine is better, but they probably are different.

    Awesome!

  • Lenny SE

Watched over a year. First time commenting tho! Just want to say great show and keep it up!!!!!!!!!! The guest was amazing!
