line of the day – ‘tight, like when you jump into a cold pool’

Always love the flip cam episodes. This one gets a 90 just for the egg-white nuggett of information alone.

Gary, I love the egg white “Wine Geek” talk. Would love to hear more of the technical aspect of wine making in the future.

At a $150.00 a pop, I can understand why you didn’t do any “spitting”.
QOTD. I have had the pleasure of 67 years.
As I recall, 2004 was not too bad.

GV, I like the one wine more in depth play here. As far as 2004, can’t remember much. Probably the last time I got a raise.

Great Show on Fallon last night. I only watched cause YOU were on. He’s a buffoon, and his writers are no good. The Roots are all he has to offer, and they’re just not enough to save a lousy show. You did great, and even made the buffoon look good. Kudos.

QotD – 2004? My best ever (out of six) triathlon performance, where my time was 31st out of about 350 entrants.

    Question of the day?

2004 – First thing that comes to my mind is Messier lifting the Stanley Cup.

    QOTD:

    2004 Makes me think of

    1. The year I graduated high school.
    2. The year the Magic drafted Dwight Howard.

  • 2004 BDX sucks….tasting alongside 2005 and it is abundantly clear why they are much cheaper. We tasted Pontet C and Lascombes recently and the 04’s were not in the same galaxy as 05

I had a 2004 entry level bordueax about 2months ago…it took at least 2 days to open up…Very tight nose & palate upon opening

qotd…2004…Worked harvest in probably the most remote winery in the USA..Ste Genevieve Winery in the West Texas desert..4000 tonne facility, 800acre vineyard, unbelievable experience…The wines though were pretty average, sugary sweet kids cough syrup!!
