I am not a lurker, but have just recently found you. I caught the last few seconds of your Jimmy Fallon appearance and was intrigued. I cannot stop watching the past episodes as you are so knowledgeable, charismatic, and funny (have to admit I am totally jealous of your wife!).

TERRIFIC EPISODE!!! Very enjoyable 38 minutes. Your Dad is just plain AWESOME. It is so great to see how much you love your Dad and the pride and respect you have for him. Its so funny when he’s on the show because he crushes food. Gary, congratulations on YOUR 1st Father’s Day!!!

My Dad and I have started to go on an annual father & son fly fishing trip in late July. So far we’ve taken trips to Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. I treasure the special time I spend with my Dad and its something I look forward to all year long.

I forgot to mention Sasha’s story about catching the hawk in the barn was hilarious. He was so animated when you didn’t believe he caught the hawk!!!

Great show, would love to see Sasha’s cellar. Gary, its great when you have guests on the show because its really demonstrates how what you do is hard, even though you make it seem easy. It inspires me to think more about the wine I’m drinking (not only why I like something, but why). Moving to Northern New Jersey in a month and looking forward to shopping at the “library”.

Thanks for the great episode. It’s always fun watching you together. I love amarone. The hawk story was great. My grandpa had his own farm too in Upstate NY and had cool stories like that to tell. I took my Dad out to his favorite restaurant for Father’s Day and had a great time, lots of laughs. Happy Father’s Day to you both!

OK, to gary, as said before, any show with your Dad, Sasha, is great. Not only ’cause he is the coolest Dad ever, but your interaction with him.

As far as that QOTD that the man Sasha asked. YES! I would love to see his cellar. A man with that experience would be awesome. Although, waiting till September may be too long.

Far as other shows with Papa Sasha, yes. Can be monthly, Tri-Monthly(?, whatever. Good too see that experience. PLUS, have food parings. I am still not a wine drinker, as much as a fan I am of WLTV. But Sasha eats in a way that makes me hungry. I want that bread, I want that Cheese, I want that (?) cured meat. Which ever it may be. Sasha has a market all of his own in the media. Would be nice.

“You can’t even commit to Bobby having Saturdays off…” was the funniest moment. QOTD: yes.

I have been watching your show for a long time and this is my first comment. This was one of the best shows ever. Being from Europe myself I can so relate. You guys have a great relationship. I think it would be outstanding if your dad would do even 1 or 2 shows a month. I will look forward to the show in September in your dad’s cellar. Yeah, a cellar show would be awesome!

You two need to watch this episode and see how many times each of you makes a face in the camera about each other – rolling eyes, smirking, smiling… You guys are hilarious together. The best look is Gary’s when Sasha says he’s committed, unlike his son.

I would love to see a Sasha show on the third Thursday of every month. The show could consist of a bottle of wine that he likes and just talking about whatever he wants. Politics, religion, business, whatever. Just make it a consistent day so the haters can avoid it if they want.

Old School Sasha rules! Gary your dad is such a cool cat, grabbing hawks. Really, he is like a mature James Bond. Every time I see him and you together it makes me think about how much I miss my Dad. Sasha you have to go on the fishing trip. Moments like and the memories that come from it are what make life truly great.

Happy belated new Father’s Day to you Gary, that show reminded me of the Smothers Brothers. I know where your dad is coming from on the La Mission Haut Brion as my wife and I shared a bottle of 2000 Reserve de la Comtesse Lalande this past weekend. It definitely had the vegy cab thing going on but I think I finally got it after the fourth try of a full case. I can see how new world drinkers would think what’s the big deal. A wine that I can’t get enough of is the 06 Vigna Irpine Giubilo and the bottle has got some impressive heft! I love its freshness and Pinot like character. I would like you to be more specific when you bash the oak monster and distinguish between the American oak monster and the European oak monster as I don’t want to have anything to do with coconut flavored wine. Cheers, I’ll be watching for as long as you do the show!

Sasha is consistently my favorite guest on your show, Gary. Thank you for sharing him with us. I really appreciate your relationship, and it is especially poignant now that you’re a father yourself. Your interaction really enhances the wine experience. I, too, share wines, cheeses, breads, meats at my table with my family, when multiple generations gather. It’s truly priceless.
