Awesome episode! I really love the interplay you two have and I can see that your relationship is strong. It’s great to see people who are dedicated to family and community instead of just their own gains.

QOTD: Yes, I would very much like to see that!

Damn, I hate it when I have to call Sasha a young punk :)Maybe Sasha should incorporate the once weekly wine show into an episode of his new reality show,”Sasha and the hangers-on”. Just think of it. Episode 17: Sasha chases the hawk! 🙂

    QOTD: The sooner the better!

SF Patrick. What show are you talking about? I’d love to see it.
Great show Dads! Can’t wait to see the Sasha ranch and cellar.
I think we need an Alaska wine cruise. Sasha can drive the big boat and GV can show us how to fish.
Cali Cabs rule. Tell him the oak monster won’t hurt him. If I want to smell dirt I’ll go to my tiny garden and dig in it.

Hey that was awesome I’m jealous. However I am really happy to see what I just say. Keep up the good work. I have been in the stuffy fine dinning restaurant biz for years and you have changed my lingo at the table. It is how I always talk is the way you speak. The only difference now is that I feel more confident being me while describing a wine at a table. Thank you. I even tell my guest to give it a little Sniffy Sniff. Peace! Your dad did a great job.
    “B” from Philly.
By the way who was that retard that grew up in Philly and likes the Patriot’s?

  • First off, thanks for showing what a healthy and respectful relationship between father and son is. Its truly inspirational.

Secondly, more Everett, more cheese (I don’t even care about the beard, and normally that bugs the heck out of me). The first time I tried triple cream was after the first CheeseLibraryTV and I have not looked back. The thought of having a supermarket grade cheap slice of whateverthatis anymore is insufferable. Life is far too short for sub-standard cheese, which I now know thanks to GV and E2DCheese.

Finally, GV’s father is Dawesome. I have never seen GV so relaxed during an episode, nor seen him drink so much wine. You can just tell by all of the cheeses and meats and wines that they are both having a good time, and the love that flows through, even though some might think it just a form of appreciation for one’s mentor/creator from GV by breaking out these great bottles of wine for his Pop, truly shows some undercurrants of jam and love. 😉 I especially enjoyed the sighs Mr. Vaynerchuk gives every time GV says how much the bottles cost; it really punctuates the reality of first generation immigrants, and how they are so biz savvy and penny-wise in regards to matters since they started out at the very, very bottom and pulled themselves up through will, determination, and the quinitsential American spirit that has, does and will make this the greatest country on earth to materialize your dreams of happiness if you have the spirit, heart and chops to follow through.

Cheers to both of you. I really appreciate the time you took out of your busy day to make this video and hopefully enjoy it one day with my son and daughter. Ultimately so that we, with a little bit of you both, can change the entire world together.

    P.S.

Here’s to you Mott. You’re the man with the plan behind the stand. #Crushit playa. #Crushit!

  • When you tape a show over at Chateau Sasha, can we get a look at the farm? Love the episodes with your Dad Gary; I just know they’ll be memorable before I watch them. Looking forward to 25 more years.

Wow, I’ve been watching off and on for awhile and that was pretty entertaining. I found myself laughing out loud.

I would watch your dad, if he did a show- but the dynamics between the two of you are classic.

    Happy Father’s day indeed!

  • Awesome. Sasha’s a bird-farmer. My dad is also a bird-farmer. He’s a Real Estate Broker, has 3 offices and over 100 agents to manage. He’s a busy busy man. Yet everyday he manages to spend 2 to 3 hours watering and feeding his birds. He has pigeons, chickens, ducks and little quail – and a few rabbits (which are really good if you eat them).

It’s crazy — but he loves it. Through rain, sun and snow he’s does it everyday. We make fun of him (in love of course) but we really have a lot of respect because it’s hard keeping them alive. I’ve had to feed those buggers a few times. The worse part is when it rains. The smell is horrendous. He comes back in the house with feathers in his hair smelling like he just rolled around with the dogs in chicken shit. But it’s cool.

He also has strange Hawk stories. We have pictures were he’s had to catch them by hand ( with gloves of course ) in order to remove them from the pigeon pens. Anyway… it’s delightful to see you guys again loving it up! Happy Father’s Day Gary and Sasha.

Gary, I’ve been a long time viewer, but this was the best episode I’ve seen to date. I almost fell off my chair watching you and your dad! You’re both an inspiration, and I love the fact that your dad just calls the wines as he sees them. Please, please get hime on the show more often…and in response to QOTD…definitely do a show from his wine cellar…..although we’ll probably all get jealous of the collection! Cheers,

Gary – – You two should take this show on the road! 🙂 Your Dad is a comedic genius and truly made this a special episode. I think there’s a part of all of us that wish our relationship with our own father could be as special as the relationship you clearly have with yours.

The ups and downs of this episode – – the hilarity (Sasha’s ‘ribbing’ of you), the horror (hinting that you may discontinue wine library tv) – – Keep on Keepin’ on, Gary – – and definitely invite your Dad back for some more episodes! This was a truly special one.

QOTD – A show from your father’s wine cellar would be awesome – – we’d be able to see the largest collection of $9 Portugese wine this side of the Atlantic!
