I just watched it again! Was still a great episode and even though the 94 didn’t pan out… isn’t it sorta perfect the oak monster reared his leafy AND woody head? I rocked my oak monster T today to remind us all… he’s out there and he’s not that nice lol

QOTD: The Nicolas Joly epsoiode, I really loved it. BIRTH BOTTLE Any ideas for a 2007 “birth bottle”?? I want to get my son who is 2.5 a bottle or two we can enjoy in many years time. Gotta be some thing that will peak in about 18-20 years. Looking in about a 50$ price range and will want to get 2 jsut in case one’s corked. Specific suggestions? Are you doing it for your daughter too?

Wow – 700 episodes. The Thunder Show has come a long way since I started watching it in late 2007. QOTD – it’s really too hard to pick but the show episode that first sucked me in was the “$10 90 point wines” episode from Nov 07.

So many great shows, it’s hard to pick one. I guess that I always enjoyed the Laid-Back Friday shows–one wine, a few viewer comments, and just chillin’ one on one. At least it seemed like it was one on one, because it seemed more intimate.

QOTD: Blind tastings of every sort / flip cams / blending in France / special episodes with family and friends / surprise guests / vodka / beer / sake sampling – the variety is the best part. I tune in because it is interesting and there is a high likelihood I will learn something new. Keep shooting from the hip GV.
