Always a good show i will be looking for the Domaine De to try as well as carry in the the place. Went to a big tasting this past Sat and there were a couple of major fans there giving you props just fyi

In music: Been listening to alot of a really good blues band called the Black Keys, but my favoritea re Radiohead and NIN.

In Movies: Probably the best movie I’ve seen in over a decade is “Children of Men” but my favorite comedy is The Big Lebowski.

QOTD: For music definitely The Verve and Kings of Leon (who happen to be one of the best bands around today). For TV I’d say Entourage and The Wire (on DVD). And for Film, I’d recommend you find The Visitor on DVD (2008 release) and I think you’d appreciate the immigration aspect of it.

Thanks for exploring Pic St. Loup. I had Chateau de Lancyre 05 vielles vignes not too long ago but was a bit disappointed. Too monolithic for my palate but maybe too young. Keep working on pronunciation of the French. Domaine de l’Hortus en français would be quite a bit different than your version. Check it out with some French buddies, your show deserves to be taken more seriously by serious drinkers and correct pronunciation will help.
I’m watching the Tour de France and pulling for Lance. I listen to tangos by Astor Piazzolla. You talk about “real” wine, that’s some “real” music. Muerte del Angel is one of my favorites of A. Piazzolla.

Wow Gary, hope I get to try the 05 hortus someday. As for music, my faves are 311, Cowboy Mouth, and Incubus. My fave movie is Sideways, not just because it’s about wine. It’s just a fun movie. My fave TV is to watch HD programs like National Geographic and Discovery. I also love Zane Lamprey on Three Sheets.
