Movies: That depends. I really like quit a few movies but I don’t have a favorite. Some of them are GoodFellas, The Godfather, The Silence of the Lambs, Amadeus, Shining, Papa Ante Portas (probably unknown to most people as it’s a German movie)

TV: I don’t have a TV at home so I don’t watch TV at all.

Gary – your passion for those value plays is unbelievable – kudos to the languedoc. Congratulations on your passion, hard work & hunger to succeed. This has re-invigorated (spelling?) me in striving hard for my passion (which happens to also be wine. check me out at twitter.com/SeraphimWines) I just love your ‘can-do attitude’ in everything you do – you are truly an inspiration to us all.
Also it was great to watch you at Crushpad this morning (my time in AUS) doing your blending trials for your 08 Cali Cab blends – great viewing!!!

OOTD – music – Miguel Migs – deep house lounge music..super relaxing funky tunes

Movies – ANything with Eddy Murphy, especially early classics like Beverly Hills Cop etc…

Listening to Amy Millan, Holly Miranda and Ra Ra Riot, all very chill for these summer days, reading The Best American Essays 2008, watching the Food Network, Bloomberg, and re-runs of The West Wing, and listening/watching podcasts; WLTV, The Moth, This American Life, and Savage Lovecast. :0) Hope all is well.

  • Movies: Anything that isn’t too serious, I think movies should be escapism, 2 hours of shutting the world out so any movie that does that is good in my book.
TV: Love the 1960’s crappy sci fi series Land of the Giants, and the mid 1990’s Dark Skies (if anyone has that on DVD I will pay good money!), but mainly watch motor racing & Top Gear.
Music: Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Dean Martin

    Gary, my favorite music?
Let’s be honnest, there’s just one noise which can be described as music and that’s classical music.
The other noise is compared to music as closet water to wine.
My favorites are Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, …… and all the rest.

“Coming to you live from the bottom of a tin can…. GV!”
Get some fabrics or leather in your office! The echo is a killer.

I love to see when a wine catches you off guard and surprises you. Especially when it is in a good way.Guess it goes to show that even in the same brand year to year you can still see a fiar amount of variance in quality.

    QOTD: Not asking much 😉

Music: Love my oldies but I like the quirky female singer/songwriters (Marina and the Diamonds at the top of my playlist and the moment)

TV: Big Anime fan. For domestic stuff I am debating if I like Mental or not. I’m conflicted on Merlin but tend to like it. Unfortunately I am hooked on a few reality shows as well (I survived a Japanese game show and Hells Kitchen are my dirty little secret 🙂 )

Movies: As a parent all the little kids anything Pixar/Disney. For me I do enjoy the SciFi/Fantasy blockbusters but like the smaller off kilter movies (The Royal Tenenbaums and The Darjeeling Limited being recent (re-)views)

Love your show! Going to pick up the ‘Domaine De L?hortus’ ASAP in some
Dutch shop. Have you been able to review Swiss wines, for example form the Dezaley area? They are awesome. We should make the Swiss export more of them.

Love the Loup. Love the Lang! great qotd too
music-Bob Dylan and anyone he associated with, and anyone they associated with.
Movies-I love almost all movies, the trick is to watch the right movies with the right people
Im a sucker for a good scary movie, but only zombies or straight killers, no spirits or demons.
TV-when they switched to cable, i decided to read more books. Ive been into Vonnegut, Kesey, HST, and the like.
Im all about being outside, philosophizing, going to the beach, hiking, biking, fishing, spelunking, of course i havnt been able to do these things very often since moving from colorado to brooklyn for school. Im finished in September, then its on What up wit u G-man?
