Gary – your passion for those value plays is unbelievable – kudos to the languedoc. Congratulations on your passion, hard work & hunger to succeed. Listening to Amy Millan, Holly Miranda and Ra Ra Riot, all very chill for these summer days, reading The Best American Essays 2008, watching the Food Network, Bloomberg, and re-runs of The West Wing, and listening/watching podcasts; WLTV, The Moth, This American Life, and Savage Lovecast. :0) Hope all is well.

Movies: Don’t watch movies.
TV: Healthy cooking shows; Sarah Snow or Lyon In The Kitchen.

Movies: Anything that isn’t too serious, I think movies should be escapism, 2 hours of shutting the world out so any movie that does that is good in my book.
TV: Love the 1960’s crappy sci fi series Land of the Giants, and the mid 1990’s Dark Skies (if anyone has that on DVD I will pay good money!), but mainly watch motor racing & Top Gear.

QotD Movies: All-time faves are The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and the Lord of the Ring series.

I love to see when a wine catches you off guard and surprises you. Especially when it is in a good way.Guess it goes to show that even in the same brand year to year you can still see a fiar amount of variance in quality.

Music: Love my oldies but I like the quirky female singer/songwriters (Marina and the Diamonds at the top of my playlist and the moment)

TV: Big Anime fan. For domestic stuff I am debating if I like Mental or not. I’m conflicted on Merlin but tend to like it. Unfortunately I am hooked on a few reality shows as well (I survived a Japanese game show and Hells Kitchen are my dirty little secret 🙂 )

Movies: As a parent all the little kids anything Pixar/Disney. For me I do enjoy the SciFi/Fantasy blockbusters but like the smaller off kilter movies (The Royal Tenenbaums and The Darjeeling Limited being recent (re-)views)

QOTD – too hard to answer for favorite all-time, but right now I have been watching A LOT of Yankee games and listening to some 90s Metallica and 10,000 Maniacs – I am also really excited to see the new Harry Potter movie (probably next week)…

Im a sucker for a good scary movie, but only zombies or straight killers, no spirits or demons.
TV-when they switched to cable, i decided to read more books. Ive been into Vonnegut, Kesey, HST, and the like.
Im all about being outside, philosophizing, going to the beach, hiking, biking, fishing, spelunking, of course i havnt been able to do these things very often since moving from colorado to brooklyn for school. Im finished in September, then its on What up wit u G-man?
