I’m watching more tv now that my back got tweaked. I’ve been getting into Top Chef Masters (can’t wait for the next season of TC), Three Sheets, PTI and Leverage.

In music, Radiohead rules. Been listening to Elbow and recently downloaded Green Day, Kasabian and My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless.

Best movie I’ve seen lately was The Devil’s Backbone by Guillermo del Toro. My fave is The Usual Suspects.

Hi Gary; love Languedoc wines, never had one from Pic St. Loup though – difficult to find! Music I’m into? Oh god – weird techno from Germany! Yes – that’s right! Movies? Lost in Translation is one of my fav’s – I’m a romantic; especially when it comes to my wine as well! This is good – everybody should open out and say who they are – good idea..

Cool, a Languedoc show…one of my favorite regions. We had a Mas de Daumas Gassac last week and it was fantastic, mind-blowing even.

QOTD: I don’t watch TV but I am mixing my tunes to Emiliana Torrini, Goldfrapp, Buddy Holly, NIN, Joy Division… and for movies I am into Science Fiction and Comedy.

NICE! Another Vaynermedia surprise!! I love these random spots for the shows….keep it rolling with these kick ass locations.

Music -So random. Itunes is on shuffle and is all over the place. One spectrum to the other.

TV -Currently living with out cable. I did it from the end of last football season and am about to start it back up before kickoff. Don’t watch much traditional television. It’s all WLT, Keynotes, and football.

Movies -I want to see the new movie Public Enemies with Johnny Depp. It’s been a while since I hit up a good movie.

I havent had a wine from the Languedoc before.

That second wine sounds so much of what my pallate it craving today!! The charred angus reference just made my stomach growl! I love burnt steaks, pittsburgh style!! But according to a list a found listing all the places TN gets wine from, that chateua isnt listed, so it might be a tad hard to find here 🙁

i hope you can help me out here. i just got the B package and the wine i think is damage from the heat, cause the cork had wine that is spilling over. I dont know why when i purchase no insurance is check. but all other time it was. And i didnt get a recipet in the box too. Please help

I like color, hiking, kids,kayaking, guys,riding my bike,software, Champagne, weekends, all rock music, listening to rain on the roof, thunderstorms, dvd’s, taking my computer apart and wine tv!

Interesting episode. In this last year of my discovering wine I haven’t heard much about Laguedoc reds, or Pic St Loup for that matter. It is interesting though, that I just drank some Cht. La Roque tonight (’06) and your show from yesterday was on the same subject. I found my bottle to be delicious – big full fruit, decent tannins, strong acidity. Very enjoyable now. But it could still sit for 3-5 more years and I’m fairly certain that it would develop into a much more complex wine. For $15-$20 this is a steal.

If I could get my hands on that other bottle I might buy a case.

Movies and music – lately I’m fixated on Tom Waits, throughout his various periods. I love his first album – Closing Time. A beautiful ode to innocence lost in barrooms, lost fascinations over unknown faces. Also, Bone Machine is amazing. Aside from that, been really into Scott Walker. There was a documentary film about him called “30 Century Man”. If you watch it you might fall in love with him. All of this is in the realm of dark romanticism. My fav movie of all time is Mulholland Drive. I feel like these interests collide with my wine interests, but I haven’t yet been able to formulate a coherent theory about all of this. Keep up the awesome work Gary Vee!

Bravo for highlighting this exciting and under appreciated region of France. Have enjoyed many wines from this area for the past decade. PLEASE do educate your viewers, also, to the exceptional quality and value of the white wines from this area. Some of our favorite summer whites, usually under 10 bones and I’m sure you are familiar with them.

and in keeping with the media theme, I’ll give you one more. I just finished reading Wine & War by Don and Petie Kladstrup, awesome book about how French winemakers tried to protect their wine from the Nazis during WWII. Would be a compelling story if it were about any product, but some of the things these guys did and the way the story unfolds really highlights how special wine is and I highly recommend this to all the Vayniaks.
