Great show!! My wife and I discovered Vouvray at a wonderful restaurant at the beach in NJ 10 years ago. Had no idea what it was and fell in love!!

Love Vouvray, and have been a big fan of Huet for a few years now. Thanks for bringing attention to a much forgotten about range of wines.

QOTD – Fave team has to be the long defunct Team Lotus racing team, won 1963, 65, 68, 70, 72 and 78 F1 championships and also the 1965 Indy 500.

Go Buckeyes! Don’t really know how they’re going to perform this year, the only big name we still have on the team is Pryor, but here’s hoping we finally perform against the big boys.

So sad this episode did not come one week earlier. Just spent a week with friends in the Loire and I would have happily gone up to me Monsieur Pinon to get a few bottles, had I had the inspiration. Next time, I suppose. I did get two bottles of Vouvray on my last trip up there and they were good, but I didn’t take any notes. More diligence on my part required.

While up there I did manage to try a few Banyuls, one brut and one moelleux (mwa-leu). I didn’t see that on your list, perhaps one show on Banyuls?

QOTD: I’d have to say the SF Giants, because a playoff game of theirs was my wife’s and my third or fourth date.

I Love the sweet Chenin Blancs from the Cote de Lyon in the Loire Valley… In my mind some of the best wines in the world @ outstanding prices! Yummm…

Great show, love how the wines pumped you up. I’ve had mixed experiences with Vouvrays, but have been finding more S African Chenins that have been delivering well for the money. Will keep my eye out for Pinon.

Nice show, have only had Sauvigon Blanc and Melon de Bourgogne from the Loire. Must try Chenin from there. The is one other country thats is big on chenin, South Africa. Maybe you should do a comparison between chenin från SA and the Loire.

I am from Sweden, but my favorite footballteam is the Arizona Cardinals. Other than that I very much like Barcelona (from Spain) and West Ham (England) in Soccer.

The reason I chose them over my Mavs & Cowboys (& stars)
When the Rangers suck (let laughter subside) , which is almost always, I still follow them.
During the ’90s when the Mavs won maybe 25 games in TWO seasons, I tuned out for almost the whole decade. (Became a bulls fan)
When the Cowboys hired Chan Gailey & Dave Campo and had several 5-11 teams & Quincy as QB — I tuned out.
Can’t explain why I always follow the Rangers

But Gary, after catching up tonight on this week’s episodes, I am going to DirecTV site to make sure things are good to go for NFL package. I love the NFL!

Gary: It’s funny…I knew you were going to say that the B&G Vouvray was the one most people could find. It’s the one I have had most often, I’m sure. QOTD: My favorite sport used to be hockey and I was a Boston Bruins fan (grew up there). Now my favorite sport is Rugby and I like the USA Eagles, but my favorite team is the Wallabies from Australia. My girlfriend wants me to add that her favorite team is St. Louis Cardinals.

Awesome episode. Love that you go 3 for 3 on a class of wine I’ve never had, makes me want to go out and try it now.

This episode started off with me doing a double take…”who is this guy and what did you do with Gary VAY-NER-CHUK!”? However, the episode turned out to be a great one, and the reason I watch the show – very concise, informative, and entertaining. Thanks for expanding my palette!

QOTD: Lakers – jumped on the bandwagon in the 80’s and never looked back. Most of the 90’s were pretty tough, but the last couple of years have been great!
