  • Hey Gary! I’m so glad you had Keith Snow on. I’ve been watching Harvest Eating since episode 1 and fell in love. I just recently discovered Keith was on twitter, yay!

I’m glad you covered some sustainable wines, maybe some organic ones in the future too? 🙂 My husband and I are going to be ordering a bottle of the Chinon blanc.

QOTD: I’m not sure, but I’m putting *both* books on our Amazon list.

Not bad for a “crap show”. I’m proud of you btw, I don’t think I’ve seen the quotes in a few eps.

Hehe – I’m definitely getting a mouthful of sausage.

I’ve really gotten into the whole local foods and growing your own stuff thing this year which has been awesome especially because of all of the great radishes, tomatoes, peas, and green beans. We’ll see how the rest does at harvest time. I’ll have to take a look at your book. I’m more of a sit down at the book store and flip a few pages before I buy type of guy though. I only pre-order when I’m bribed 😉

QOTD: I don’t really believe in the magic bullet, but I think it definitely could help. If you’ve got the cajones, then it’ll happen no matter what, maybe the book will be what tips the scales.

Wow, you managed to catch one of the few other hosts of video blogs that I watch. Interesting show for me as I try to grow something in my tiny garden every year. Mostly hot peppers so DH can make hot sauce and hot slices to use on foods (He likes Habanero-hot stuff). I think so much rain this year is giving my tomatoes a hard time. I might have to resort to chemicals to fight the diseases as the household remedies aren’t working enough (books like “Trowel and Error” with recipes for fighting diseases and bugs help me try to be organic).

    QotD: no idea

  • Hey Gary! I’m coming up to visit WL within the next 2 weeks, and just thought this would be an appropriate time to comment for the first time. I am from the actual town the Bloodhound Gang is from (Collegeville, PA), I’ve shared many teachers with Jimmy Pop (lead singer), and hang out with them frequently. I’ll spread the word of your love of them to the crew! Haha, have a good one, excellent episode, and I HOPE HOPE HOPE HOOOOOOOPE I get to see you when I come up to visit!!!!

QOTD: I…I have NO idea! Haha. I wish it’d be me, but I don’t think so at all! Haha!

Cool guy, good story. Like the concept of his cooking. As for the wines and show overall, fell a little short. Compare to the sustainable/dynamic episodes a few months ago, w/ Nicholas Jolly or the Danish guy in the hat, and this show is week. Guess the wines (1 and 3) were disappointing…

  • QOTD: The first person to reach millionaire status by putting CRUSH IT!’s advice into play will be someone Gary often mentions on the show from time-to-time: “Sally in Arkansas”.
Gary, Keith was a REALLY good guest! You may have found the perfect sometime regular for WLTV. You guys are great together and you should tape an ep with him whenever he is visiting the Tri-State area.
I will be forwarding Mr. Snow’s website URL to friends and family who grow and cook.

Another great guest. It’s definitely nice to have a guest who combines Wine Library fandom and plenty of talent and knowledge in their own field. Those two elements don’t seem to appear together often.

I’m intrigued by the chinon blanc based on your tasting notes. I’ll definitely seek it out. I’m a fellow vegetal wine lover.

I hope you’re getting enough comments to keep the show rolling.

  • Loved this guest. Knowledgeable enough and not overshadowed or intimidated by your knowledge, but didn’t seem arrogant or like he was trying to show you up. You guys complemented each other well. I’d like to see more chefs as guests on in the future!

Couldn’t disagree more with EUGENE. Keith was one of WLTV’s best guests. Who cares if they share the same PR co? He was knowledgeable, charismatic and interesting. They make for good TV. Going to give the chinon blanc a whirl.

    Thanks Gary!
