I would buy all of Vance’s wines, just because of his wonderful, pleasant personality.

He seems to care about the fruit and winemaking(and sausage), and apparently his wines have the chops to match that attitude.

Vance Sharp drinking game – everytime Vance mentions a date (day, month, and year) – take a drink. Everytime a specific date is mentioned that is more than 20 years ago (who can remember that far back???) – you finish your drink and refill.

No one will make it more than 15 minutes at this game….

Vance comes across as a genuinely nice guy who loves his family and likes a challenge. Gary you were obviously excited to have him there, the interview interruption factor started to uptick after some recent well controlled performances, but it is understandable if Vance’s presence pressed your passion button. Have fun out there in October.

QOTD: Bald has really become mainstream stylish in the last several years, as long as the dome is well formed it looks way good…beats bad hair and toupees any day. My own hair is crazy wavy curly, fought with it when I was younger trying to tame it…there is less of it now, but I’ve been shaving it for 17 years. The open dome is awesome and low maintenance. I must have saved a years worth of time in reduced mop management.

Based on the last 2 episodes…I’d have to say my career in the insurance business should be on it’s last leg!
QOTD.. bald guys that have to shave their head every other day is just sad. Naturally bald guys generally are very cool.

Great show and guest! Makes me miss growing up in that area…..Vance mentioned Sonoma Market and it’s one of the best!! Would love to buy some of his sausage and then go to buy some bread from Sonoma Bakery.

This was by far one my favorite episodes, and for sure top three favorite guests. I was just in Napa and im bummed I didn’t know about his winery a week ago. Im visiting his winery before I die.
