Bordeaux wines are wines definately made for ageing.

QOTD: Standing near the Eiffel tower for the New Year’s Eve Millennium celebration! And then spending the rest of the year living in Europe.

Bordeaux brings the Thunder! I have not had more than one or two St.Julien’s, and i dont even think they were classified growths. Always good to see a wine that kills it. Thanks for the show! Also..thanks for the email, i appreciate it:)

Nothing spectacular about 2000 that I can remember, years seem to blur into one, when I do form memories they tend to get pushed into the deepest recesses of my subconcious and just creep up on me and hit me with a baseball bat 😀

QOTD: I spent the first have of 2000 in Southwest France. It was awesome.

It is truly amazing, what mature Bordeaux from a great year can do!!! I’m glad we all got to see you experience that. Maybe it will inspire people to buy Bordeaux and age it appropriately.

Right from the winery and better-HMMMM could it be because they have a stash of special bottles that go to wine critics-

i turned 25, went to EU for the first time and met my wife there. could not have been more important…. + there are some rawkin wines form 2000! i have 1 bottle of Cos from then
