My daughter graduated from HS that year. Wow fits it. The Brainaire is sitting in my cellar as a pair of two bottles and I am pumped to try one. (It was originally purchased for $37. Enjoy seeing some of the finer wines being tasted. So where is Sir Gary. Maybe time to really nerd it up and bring him back.

Lord help me (& my pocket)…getting into left bank Bordeaux…St Estephe by Chat De Pez and Margaux by Chateau D’Issan.
Tried a 1985 Bordeaux, but it may have gone bad & caused a headache.

Expanded my palate with a Dolcetto D’Asti by Casata Monticello for under 9 bucks. LOTS of fruit.

2000 Highlights: Computers didn’t crash, planes didn’t fall from the sky, our oldest girl finished kindergarten, celebrated 14 Year Wedding Anniversary!

Great show. You know its all about the wine when I saw you react after tasting the chateau Branaire. Those are the times you truly remember.

QOTD; The year 2000. The computer scare that went nowhere was a riot. I remember watching the New Year Eve’s show on TV. I remember the fireworks from numerous countries and how happy everybody seemed.

2000 equals maaaaad crazy college experiences both “aided” and un-aided.

QOTD: 2000- Awesome ski year. Went to Bridger Bowl & Big Sky for a week in Jan. Then went to Whistler in March. Did a few East Coast trips that year including a great day at Mad River Glen.

QOTD: 2000 was the year we decided to move to Austin!

This is a wow show. I like it a lot when you tape out of your terrace in your apartment in NYC. And this particular show inspires me to drink good Bordeaux this Saturday that we’re going to be having dinner with my parents. QOTD: doubtlessly, the birth of my beautiful daughter, Lucia. Lucia to me is like your Misha to you, except that I have two sons older than her, but she’s my only daughter.

Awesome Gary to see 2 wines rated above 90 and to see one of them at 97 is simply fantastic…

QOTD The best thing about 2009 is being able to spend time with my sister’s kids, they are amazing and adorable.

QOTD: Hmmm, I was in my first year teaching Physics at a boarding school in CT after finishing my grad degree. Lived in a dorm. Coached soccer and basketball. Great experience. Glad I decided to teach before moving on to practice my grad degree (engineering).
